Toddlers and younger children will love the easy access to farmyard animals and very safe play areas.

Went on a Bank Holiday and this was a great day out. Plenty to do and our 1 year old loved the animals. There was also a Punch & Judy show and a BBQ whilst we were there. Would highly recommend.

Visited on Easter weekend on a lovely sunny day. Park is hidden away but sign posted just when you start to think you may have got lost. Plenty of parking and the grounds look impressive as you drive up. Entrance was £8 for adults and £5 I think for our three year old, which seems about right in comparison to... More

We had visited Old Down two years ago and were impressed with it. The grounds and house are beautiful and there are lots of animals to see but there didn't seem much to keep the kids occupied once they had seen everything. However, this time they had added some extra equipment for them to play on and there was an... More

Visited on Mother's Day with my daughter and grandaughter. Directions not very good, not signposted. Had a lovely coffee, pot of tea and cake when we first arrived. Took my grandaughter to see the animals, get up close to the chickens and rabbits, she thought the pigs and goats were lovely and got upset when she had to leave the... More

We visited here and it was free entry due to a craft fair being held in the house. We found it only by using the directions from the website as there were no signs whatsoever for the park (we came from South Wales direction). For such an attraction I really expected it to be well sign posted. Lots of car... More

Coming from the north this is a difficult place to find. There isn't a sign to indicate the final turning into foxholes lane. Once inside the children enjoyed the playgrounds. There aren't that many animals to look at. There is a nice walk to a lake with views of the severn.

Visited with daughter and 18 month old grandson. Could do with a little thought for the visitors by identifying where on the park each type of animal is to be found, the handout map just gives it as 'animals' in a particular location rather than saying what was where. Lots of chickens, but couldn't find some of the listed animals.... More
