Made a visit here on the recommendation of friends. What a great place. We only live 30 mins away but have never discovered this amazing museum. We spent over 3 hours wandering around the fascinating collection of items from a bygone era. Brought back so many memories of family life as a child in the 50's and 60's. It's so... More

This is an extraordinary place - a very individual collection of 20th-century memorabilia, including complete recreations of 1950s shops. Brings back loads of memories for over 50s, but fascinating for kids too.

Found this attraction on Trip Advisor and decided to visit as we were in the area. It was just such an experience going back to our youth. The display just goes on and on and on. (Allow a couple of hours to really get the feel)! If you are nearby, this is a must. Great Cafe with reasonsably priced tasty... More

Really well worth a visit. An excellent trip down memory lane, full of nostalgia. Thought we would only be there for a couple of hours but ended up staying for four. Helpful friendly staff, a good restaurant with a reasonably priced menu, food freshly cooked and delicious.

What a fantastic place, a huge amount of items and all so interesting. Did not imagine from the outside how much was on show inside. Not too far from the M5 so easy to get to.
