Amazing place, immaculate and very well presented. Staff are engaging and lovely. Took my 2 year old son who's obsessed with tractors however I enjoyed it as much if not more. Cafe is large and comfy, doesn't seem too expensive. Shop is missing a trick, should stock up with vintage toys and other things, would certainly sell. The number is... More

Second visit and it is even better than ever. Admitedly it was a bit on the cold side in parts of the museum which was a great pity so I suggest you visit on a warm day! That is the only negative otherwise very friendly staff and a very clean and welcoming exhibition. We both find it amazing that anyone... More

Such a surprise, up a country lane and into a rather bare parking area. We entered the buildings and found a wonderland of memorabilia. Fabulous collections taking us back to childhood days. Will certainly visit again and take friends and grandchildren.

We had an afternoon visit here and wow, it's so much bigger inside than it looks from the outside. I would recommend wearing a sweater as some of the showrooms are very large and can be a little cool. There is so much crammed in, you just don't know where to start or which way to turn. I think there... More

An excellent collection of things from the past, features reatail, royal mail, farming and industrial exhibits all in a purpose built museum. Lovely café and very clean toilets. a good 3 hours worth of stuff to see.

A very interesting collection, and well looked after. We took the children as they are doing history at school.

I went here with my parents yesterday, and was pleasantly surprised at the extensive collection. My parents really liked it seeing lots of familiar items from their childhoods. We didn't eat at the cafe so unable to comment.

I am an activity coordinator in a care home in Dorset and this place is a must visit for any homes near to this attraction. It really is a treasure trove, stuffed full with amazing items from the past. What a trip down memory lane! There is great wheelchair access and a large cafe area. Something for everyone! I would...
