Hopefully we will see you again soon. You can always visit the cafe without entering the museum if you only have time for a quick cuppa! More

I am astonished that I hadn't found Oakham Treasures before. It has been a few miles from my home for over 4 years but I've just discovered it. I was shown round by Helen the manager of this family run attraction. There is so much to see here from agricultural implements, tractors, radios, hardware, confectionery.......the list is endless and I... More

Oakham Treasures houses the most eclectic collection of, well, Stuff. I came with my seven year old and it kept her occupied for longer than I expected. A few more signs would have been helpful, especially amongst the farm machinery (no parent likes to have to admit to not knowing what something is) or perhaps a guide to take round... More

This is a wonderful private museum collection with an extensive collection of tractors plus other agricultural bits and pieces and a huge collection of retail and domestic memorabilia mainly from early & mid 20th centuary. For the over 60's this brings back a lot of memories. The museum has a well eqipped cafe - only downside is that you really... More

We are glad you enjoyed your visit, also enjoying the cafe too. We do have plenty of free carparking on offer but there is a bus route outside of our entrance. More

It's an eccentric and extraordinary collection of objects both ordinary and extraordinary. The displays are of artifacts representing work and leisure over at least the past century. Full of interest!

My wife and I were looking for somewhere to go in in the dry and I stumbled upon Oakham Treasures. We set off not knowing what to expect for an entry fee of £8. What a fantastic surprise. From the moment you walk into the museum and see a bright red telephone box you are transported back to your childhood.... More

There is so much packed into this small place and you could spend quite a while looking at all the intriguing items. There are many things that the "older generation" will remember and will find nostalgic. Younger children would probably just scoot round and not appreciate what is to be seen, but older children and adults would find it more... More

We do offer a quiz for children to keep them amused - please ask at the entrance. You can also just visit the cafe without needing to visit the museum, for your convenience. Glad you enjoyed your visit. More

Only live a short distance from it yet hadn't realised its existence until watching Flog It! But WOW. You must go there Something for everyone - unbelievable collection of all-sorts, well laid-out, very friendly staff (not expensive), cafe - well worth a visit.
