This was a fabulous walk that left us with the most amazing memories. We did not walk with a tour group, but on our own so that we could set our own pace and not feel the pressure of having to keep up with other walkers. We are so glad that we did that! We averaged between 12-16 miles a... More

Went with Utracks on a guided 15 day C2C walk-fantastic food and really special accommodation. - beautiful countryside. Guide seemed to only walk at the front of the group and be interested in fast walkers. An atmosphere of competition fostered and when the group re-grouped the last walker was not waited for- constant feeling of trying to catch up, even... More

Our two week Coast to Coast walk with HF Holidays was outstanding. Our accommodations and meals were excellent. Our volunteer trip leader, Howard MATTHEWSON, was exceptional. His way-finding skills were first rate, guiding us on alternate paths according to the terrain and weather. Howard's knowledge of the human and natural history of the hills, valleys and villages we passed through... More

I have written many reviews on the c2c. We have done this walk numerous times because we love it and it has become an annual event that we can't wait for. You can read all my other reviews but I will try and add some different tips that might help you. First day is St. Bees to Rosthwaite - a... More

Completed my C2C challenge on FRi. 11th.Sept.Words cannot express how wonderful this challenging walk was. Yes it was tough especially in the Lake District, however i cannot emphasise enought how it was made such an awseome experience by NorthWest Walks. From the beginning to the end the organisation was so slick and ran smoothly from the accomadation(absolutely super in B&B's... More

We are just back home after a week on the C2C. Throughout Packhorse were impeccably efficient, and could not be faulted. My son and I needed to be away from Kirkby Stephen early afternoon today and they made sure our bags were waiting for us there. Not part of their regular routine, but an extras service we were very grateful... More

It was a year in the works planning and preparing but in July 2015, we did it! The C2C was tough; we went west to east, so the toughest part was days 2 - 4, going through the Lake District. It was all so gorgeous though; soaking up the English countryside was bliss. It was never an easy stroll, except... More

It really was an amazing experience but harder than I thought. I did it by myself in 13 days and no two days were the same. Everyday was tough in a different way. Some days there were a lot of uphills, some days were downhills, some days were long and flat, some days were boggy, some days were very windy,... More

Me and my nephew planned on doing the walk in 13 days with no rest days we booked up with Packhorse to transfer are luggage each day who were amazing and I would recommend them to anyone who is thinking of doing the... Due to time constraints, my brother and I were limited to 11 days to complete this walk. Due to financial constraints, we opted to wild camp and prepare our own food. What I am very proud to say is we managed to complete the walk for less than £200.00 each with no serious injury, but boy of boy, was it... More
