What an absolutely brilliant experience. My wife and I did this great walk with 2 other couples. We have done many other walks around the world but this was the longest and probably the best we've done so far. The fact that we only had 1/2 day of rain for the whole trip helped - but I'm not sure it... More

Just finished this walk and had a truly wonderful time. My only complaint was that it went too quickly. We used the Sherpa baggage transfer company and they were extremely efficient. I think one thing to note is that sign posting of this trail is minimal in the Lake District national park and that you need to take extra care... More

My friend and I made some last minute plans to complete the Coast to coast. We couldn't spare 14 days so wondered if we could walk to Kirkby Stephen then cycle the middle section. I'm so pleased I discovered C2C packhorse at that point and called them for advice. They were very helpful and flexible, were willing to transport and... More

Walked this with my 3 sisters July 10-25. We called it Walk of the Ages because our combined ages added up to miles we walked. This is an outstanding trail to walk with varied terrain, cute villages and great pubs. We used Packhorse to transport our luggage, they did a great job. We booked our own B & B's, pubs... More

I walked the coast to coast in 17 days, some with good friends, some alone. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, met great fellow coasters....especially valued the company of the 'Irish', Peterborough, and Oz contingents. We were very lucky with the weather, doing it in a relaxed way meant we could look around and do a few side trips where we... More

Just completed the C2C with baggage assistance from the fabulous PackHorse, Simon and Lindsay you should be proud. Their organisation was amazing with their guidance and help with the most amazing knowledgable friendly staff and never once did I doubt my bag would not be there waiting for me as I arrived at each destination! I took the walk over... More

Turning 50 this July, I decided to treat myself to a challenge, so after persuading/coercing three friends to join me, we embarked on an eleven day Wainrights coast to coast adventure June 18-28. Sherpa transported our bags and we stayed in some fab, b and b' s, particularly recomended, Gyll Farm Enerdale Bridge, Butt House Keld, Golden Lion Osmotherly and... More

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Coast to Coast Packhorse for their assistance recently. I was travelling independently with four friends on the Coast to Coast route (two of my friends travelled by car and took our luggage) when I left an item of clothing behind in St Bee's. I asked Adrian from Packhorse whether he would be... More

Completed the C2C yesterday! Did it with my husband and our dog Snoop to raise funds for 2 dog rescues so because of this we decided to challenge ourselves even more and carry all our own gear (although we didn't camp it, I'm not that dedicated!) The whole experience was just incredible - from the majestic Lake District to the... More
