Spent a morning here and what a brilliant place it is too! There is one particular shop with all sorts of gift ware in. Spent a fortune but have sorted out a lot of Christmas presents in there!! Some really great and special gifts available. Went and had lunch, what a fab place the restaurant is too. Fresh salads, home... More

Wanted to buy spelt flour and have coffee and a chat with a friend so decided to combine the two. Disappointed that flour not milled on site now as machinery not up to it. They did have a good variety of flour though. Cafe was cosy and quite full. All the meals are vegetarian and although we did not sample... More

Our main reason for visiting is that we like working mills (wind or water) so we can buy different bread flours. The flour shop was small with not a great variety, but we did still buy a couple of packs. Loved the craft shop. Yes, some of it is expensive but there are some quite unusual items there. Didn't use... More

This place was overpriced, the staff could not have cared whether we were there or not. The interpretation was out of the 1970's, being generous. In general the whole place looked and felt shoddy , unkempt and really not worth my time to visit.

Cafe offers basic decor but food choice is usually good, quality of food good and cakes delicious. Several healthy meal options available. Good cafe to take children. Individual and interesting craft shops, although these are limited its is great to see real craftsmen at work.

The website definitely over sells this place...its okay....nice location for sure....erm...that's it really. Craft shop is criminally expensive in my opinion. Erm....a couple of on site crafters....then there is the café...which was very popular....we had a lunch and it was really gorgeous...;D
