Loved this visit, been before and love how you can see people actually working the old trades that are too soon a forgotten thing.

Wonderful shop with good range of products especially greetings cards! We spent much longer there than we intended reading their funny cards!

We visited for a short afternoon before meeting others for tea and did not have enough to time to fit it all in. So much to see and learn that I can hardly list it all here. We all loved every bit of the museum and the gift shop was brilliant for Christmas shopping! Nice cafe but a little pricey... More

We decided to visit partly because we love craft centres and partly because its opening times were earlier than most other places. I have been going here for years and buy most of my flour, oats and muesli from them. The muesli is the best! The craft centre is fantastic and kids will love all the ducks. My favourite craft there is the blacksmith.

It's interesting to see the working mill and the flour is good. There are also a number of working craft shops selling interesting items - glass pictures, ironwork, upholstery, woodwork etc and a large gift shop. The cafe is also good. Lots of interesting things to go with interesting salads. And hearty soups etc.

Well signed with a good free car park and interesting local businesses showcasing locally produced crafts. A reasonable tearoom and a river walk in pleasant setting
