The only complete victorian water-turbine powered mill in the country it is fascinating to walk around. Pop into the Mill shop and purchase some floor or biscuits or browse the gift shop, well worth a visit.

Visited the Mill at lunchtime, thought we would have a bite to eat. We were not disappointed. Excellent food and service. We will be back.

I thought the layout was interesting, as you queue down the centre of the tables and benches, although despite being busy it lacked atmosphere somehow. Maybe it needs music or more interaction with the staff? The menu provided plenty of interest and the food... More

Had lunch at Caudwell's on 30th December. 6th visit this year. Great food, superb value and a lovely setting. Free parking and quaint gift shop opposite the cafe. Fantastic for veggies as the entire menu is vegetarian or vegan. Shame there aren't more places like this.

There is free parking. As you walk towards the craft centre, there is a lovely lawned area with a small bridge on the right that you can walk over to see the working flour mill wheel in action. There is a bench under the trees where you can sit and look out over the fields across from the centre where... More

We've visited the mill and craft centre many times (but not recently) its still very good, the shops are nice, and worth a look round. I stocked up on flour which is very good. It was a Sunday afternoon when we visited and despite sticking our heads in the door a couple of times couldn't get a table in the... More

Often visit the cafe for afternoon tea and a Huge choice of cakes ~ the scones are to die for! My only minor grip would be 99% of the savoury food has garlic and/or onions in. I am severely allergic to onions, and so am not able to eat a hot meal there, which is a great shame, as the... More

Liked the cafe and the shop - and the super porridge oats we bought, recommended by a very friendly local man we met.
