I was staying in meavy just down the road, and someone suggested I went here to walk my pup berry. The tearoom is a little dated and old fashioned but the service was excellent and the cream tea was enjoyed by both of us. amazing piece of history and a very well maintained airstrip ,lovely for family picnics ,walking dogs etc

Interesting place a few hundred metres from Yelverton shops and church. Before you go look at the RAF Harrowbeer website via Google and also the excellent Google Earth pictures which show the layout and runways.
