This course was in great shape with amazing tour quality greens but there was one HUGE PROBLEM. There were a LOT of dogleg holes which had blind landing areas. This would be fine if you had a picture of the hole but there was no GPS in the cart, no signs on the tee boxes and no map of the... More

I love this course....laid out so that it does not KILL the non-pro golfer...meaning easy to not to loose balls - yet,a s with many courses...offers a real challenge. Nicely maintained course...easy to walk...freindly staff. Drains really well during the West Coast winters....love the greens - though they are not that easy!

Course in great shape, staff were friendly and helpful. Very walkable with a few challenging holes. Watch for deer wondering around, no fear of people. Club house and restaurant well appointed, large selection. Played with locals Bob and Mike who were very helpful in navigating the course as this was our first time here.

One of the best and most playable public courses on Vancouver Island. Walkable. Good pro shop and service. Good food as well.

Played Cordova Bay in mid August 2014, the fairways, greens and tee boxes were all in outstanding shape. Although it's a relatively flat course its very challenging but fair. There's lot to see as its a botanical course with the odd garden and goats at different spots. We really enjoyed this course.

On a great sunny mid-September afternoon, Cordova Bay was my choice for a quick round. I had played the course twenty years ago and remembered that it was a good choice then. Pace of play was excellent (about 4:10), the greens held the shots quite well and the course is quite benign if you hit the ball reasonably straight. The... More

Cordova Bay is an exceptional golf experience.. The course layout is welcoming and offers challenges ...often subtle ones. Easily walkable. Good range and for a full day a best in class practice area and exec course across the road. A good restaurant...overall, a very good experience.

If you want an absolutely great golf course, this is it. Beautifully manicured and some fantastic old trees. Eagles, geese, frogs you name it a real taste of nature with views of the (Haro Straight I think). Easily would give it 5 stars except for the pro (Jim) who seemed to delight in over charging us as we returned with... More

Loved this course. Elegantly landscaped and a joy to play. Lots of wildlife too: an Audubon course, we saw eagles, deer, fawn and rabbits!
