If you have kids this is a must visit. My son loved his visit and hasn't stopped talking about it. It's not a big establishment but very nicely done. Lots of butterflies, parrots, fish and turtles. All the kids there were super excited. Best thing was that there are no barriers and butterflies are free to fly anywhere. It's like... More

This is located close to Butchart Gardens and you can easily do both on one day. This is a great place with a lot of beautiful butterflies and moths. There were also other creatures such as turtles and flamingoes. The butterflies were flying around and some of them landed on our children' legs or heads, which made them very happy.... More

Somewhat better than the butterfly section of Seattle science museum, as this one have what seems to be more butterflies (including one we never saw before), a lizard, some parrots, flamingos, turtles, frogs and ducks, but it is a small garden.

My dad found this place online and we stopped for a brief visit. It was a beautiful indoor garden with butterflies everywhere! The funniest moment was when two butterflies were making more butterflies, and a little kid asked "what are they doing?"

This is the best Butterfly Garden I have ever been in. They have many types of butterflies and moths in their own environment. They even have a large display of hatching ones and great feeding stations. There are also a few parrots and turtles in the displays. This is a great place t take children of any age. Be sure... Whilst driving around Capetown we chanced upon the Victoria Butterfly Gardens and thought it might be fun. We enjoyed it immensely and I can only say I'm glad I'm not a butterfly as it was jolly hot and humid in there and I thought I might faint actually. But I understand that this is their butterfly world and not Roslyn... More

We just happened to drive by and saw the signs. We're glad we stopped. Lush vegetation in a giant green, lots of butterflies.

Wear shorts and a light top, because this is a tropical, hot garden, filled with a wide variety of butterflies in all shapes and sizes. Also look for the turtles, tortoises, flamingo, parrots and frogs. Going back for a second look.

The butterfly gardens was an intersting attraction. I was actually more interested in the pink flamingos and the birds. There is a neat display with poisonous frogs as well. There were a great number of different butterflys but it wasn't overwhelming. Watch for Little-E the parrot, he loves the ladies and is not shy. He was adorable once you got... More

Interesting for the whole family. Many different types of butterflies. Loved Little E the parrot. Gorgeous flowers and plants. Cheeky macaw. Would definitely visit again.
