Learned a lot about ocean sciences

Nice place to visit. Very good learning environment. Being part of the science rather than reading it in a book. Friendly staff and scientists.

Friendly, informative tour that helped us to understand the local marine environment. Interesting for kids and teens. My pre-teen really enjoyed the tour. Worth a visit.

You get to Bamfield by boat, or by driving over some rough roads. And when you arrive your feel like you are in a coastal fishing community, with the inlet as the mainstreet, and boats of all types running up and down.
