Spectacular scenery and opportunities to see wildlife in all it's glory. Breathtaking ocean views with waves coming in straight from Japan.

I could have stayed out there all day. So many photo opportunities. Trail is easy to walk, there's access to a few small beaches and lots of fun trees for kids to climb on.

Loved the views of the Wild Pacific Trail, went whale watching, ate at local restaurants, and drove to Tofino. We are so lucky to have this in our own backyard and sometimes forget how close we are to such beautiful places. The Black Rock resort was an average stay and expected more for the cost.

We have been going to Long Beach and area for over 30 years and have never seen a storm or large waves and this weekend was the ONE where we finally got lucky and got to catch sight of the BIG waves ... and we also figured out that you don't see them at Chesterman or Long Beach ... you... More

The Pacific Ocean was throwing up some powerful waves, with the wind and the rain it was a bracing scenic walk. Paths are well maintained and lots of view points to sit and admire the rugged coast. Rain forest is part of the walk with lots of ferns and mosses with lichen hanging down too.

We did the 2,5km Lighthouse Loop part of the Wild Pacific Trail system, and would highly recommend it for an easy way to access some fantastic scenery and an get an overview to the local ecosystem. Majority of the loop follows the coastline at cliff-level, overlooking the craggy and rocky coast and the pounding sea, whilst not being too demanding... More

This is a very nice trail with many viewing spots, most with seating. Many trails of the area require a park entrance fee, but not this one. I highly recommend it.

We took in the majority of this magnificent trail. We did the lighthouse loop on a very wet day, but it didn't detract from the stunning scenery. As the fall storm rolled in we moved on to another section of the walk. Wow... the waves crashed in and the timber ebbed and flowed in the small inlets. The paths around... More
