The staff in this place are very, very good on explaining on what is going on in the ocean around them. What I really like about this aquarium is that they send the creatures back to where the came from.. I will go back again!!!

We came to Ucluelet for a week at the end of our month long trip through the Rockies to the Island from Manitoba. The Ucluelet Aquarium was one of the best parts of our entire trip! Unlike the Vancouver Aq., this is a catch and release aquarium so its awesome knowing these animals go back to the ocean for winter.... More

A lovely quaint aquarium, fun for the kids, catch and release policy so the creatures will get released back to the big old wild at the end of the season. A must visit in Ucluelet !

Worth a visit. It is not a spectacular aquarium, but you get to know quite a lot about the local sea life in Ucluelet. If I return to Ucluelet, I probably will visit the aquarium again.

the concept of this aquarium is pretty cool. It was interesting to be so close and personal with all the specimens they had.

This is a nice place to visit, particularly if you would like to entertain and educate small children. There are many specimens and good information and, to their credit, they return everything back to the ocean at the end of the season. Worth visiting.

Great little taste of the sealife around Ucluelet. Good place to wander around and learn about the local sealife. There are hands-on tanks to get up-close and personal with the sealife.

We visited this attraction with an 18 month old, who was thrilled to be able to dabble his hands in the touch pools. We enjoyed watching the octopus, and feeding time. The very good thing is that all the fish are "just visiting" and returned to the place where they were collected. It is a community run aquarium, celebrating what... More

We visited the aquarium to try and escape the rain, but were really glad we did! Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the aquarium is nicely laid out with lots of touchpools that were fun even for us adults. Good amount of information, and nice to learn about the local sealife.
