A venue one should not miss in Ucluelet. Very well set up with sea life in natural habitat. Beautiful displays.

It is a great little aquarium! The staffer we met helped us identify a few things we had seen on the beaches near by. And took the time to show my 4 year old a lot of cool creatures.

We had a chance to explore the Ucluelet Aquarium with a 2 year old and 7 year old. There are many 'touch' tanks where adults and children alike can touch and learn about the many creatures that move on the ocean floor. The informational display are very visual and easily read to little ones and more info for the adult... More

We have been taking our children to the Ucluelet Aquarium for a number of years. We loved the smallness and quaintness of the old building. The demos that the staff gave were informative and fun. This was our first visit to their new home. The building is beautiful and the displays are awesome. It is definiley a step up from... More

This is a hands-on aquarium; most of the sea life is in open-top tanks and you are welcome to gently lift things up. It is also a catch-and-release facility; everything goes back into the bay at the end of the season. Price of admission is a bit steep, but worth it.

This place is not cheap to enter ($14/per person) considering the scale of the aquarium. They are the world's only catch and release aquarium and just for that, it's worth every penny to support this great cause. There are tanks of sea stars and cucumbers which you can touch - would be an amazing experience for kids. We actually managed... More

Wow it was tiny a tiny area...as my wife was paying entry i was going to tell her not to but it was too late. 35 bucks we were in for about 5 mins. Was hoping for staff to help with a guided tour or something for the price but they were too busy texting. Best place by far is... More

What a treasure! This small aquarium permits up close encounters with creatures and plants of the local ocean. There are also tanks of touchable sea life, star fish, snails, shells with hermit crabs etc--fantastic for children(all the tanks are at their level) and adventurous adults. All of the creatures are released back into the local ocean at the end of... More

This place rocks! A must see on the West Coast! Definitely worth while supporting this organization and the great staff working here. i would say this is one of the top 3 'to do's' in the whole region for kids!
