The whole catch and release idea is great and I understand that the cost to run this is probably quiet high but we paid over $40 for the 4 of us and it took us about 30-45 minutes to go thru 3 times. We were very privileged to actually have one of the employees see us looking and he came... More

Lovely aquarium which catches and releases its exhibits each year - hands on pools which we as adults enjoyed, and everything was well displayed and accessible. Cracking.

One of the few "catch and release" aquariums in North America, they return the specimens to the ocean in November and collect new specimens in March. More touching tanks than I've ever seen! Staff very friendly and knowledgeable, very clean and well maintained.

One of our families favourites. Love to visit and love how respectful to the area it is. Thanks for setting them free in the fall.

Lots of great local fish and sea animals to sea at the aquarium. Great activity for a rainy day and the staff are all very knowledgeable. Loved the fact that all of the animals are caught in the spring and released back into the ocean in the fall.

The aquarium is filled with amazing sea creatures and touch tanks for people to explore. Very kid oriented, but seemed to be pricey for what was offered.

The Ucluelet aquarium is easy to get to has local aquatic life in both touch tanks and viewing only aquariums. Staff were knowledgable and held demonstrations. It was an enjoyable outing in Ucluelet.

Such a great aquarium, tons on unique marine life & awesome staff. Tanks were clean and well kept and all the marine life seemed at home. A great way to get to know the life in the ocean on the coast. The touch tanks were really cool, and great fun. Would definitely go again :)

We really enjoyed the fact that the aquarium sets their marine life free each year and fills their tanks with a new array of creatures. The staff are friendly and ready to give information about the inhabitants of their tanks. You may also touch a few of the creatures in designated tanks. We came in at feeding time, so lots... More
