Very interesting sea life in this aquarium. Interactive tanks for children. I was mesmerized by all the exhibits and spent more time in the aquarium thank I thought I would.

I went with my older relatives. While I was initially surprised by the steep price (I think the Vancouver Aquarium is maybe twice the price but is many times the size) I realized that this aquarium is a local initiative with an important educatonal function. It is worth supporting. As we explored, we found we could touch some of the... More

This place has tanks with star fish and other ordinary shellfish for kids to touch and feel. The entry fee for adults is $14 and $7 for children! What?

Kids can get hands on with the touch tanks and explore up close and personal. Older kids may lose interest fast. Worth the time to explore and ask the staff questions.

When we arrived at the aquarium, it had just opened for the day. We paid ~ $30 or so. It was worth every cent. The staff are very knowledgable and educated. They are approachable and welcome questions. They are professional and polite. We pretty much had the place for ourselves for a hour or so before other folks showed up.... More

We were lucky to see the temporary Octopus resident of the aquarium. What a great group of staff and students that work there. So knowledgeable and we loved all the interaction. Well worth the visit even if it isn't a rainy day.

Our family loves visiting the aquarium. The staff are very knowledgable and gear to share information with everyone who passes through. Great experience. Perfect location. You can sit in the library area and watch sea lions in the harbour, watch the octopus dance or explore the touch tanks. We go here bi weekly. I am so grateful Ukee has this... More

Interesting and original display of local aquatic life. We spent a couple hours here. The staff was very helpful, she went out of her way to identify something we found on the beach taht we had never seen before.

I was very impressed with the tiny aquarium. It is in keeping with the whole Pacific Rim philosophy of being in tune with the environment. There are not many aquariums that collect their specimens at the beginning of the season and release at the end. Their giant octopus is replaced three times in a season otherwise it will grow too...
