This cruise was the highlight of my summer!! A beautiful day spent exploring the broken group islands. Stunning scenery, friendly hosts, and a wonderful lunch aboard the Raincoast Maiden.

This was our third trip with Al and Toddy in 5 years, and it was amazing. As before we saw great wildlife, and enjoyed the wonderful hospitality and service that Al and Toddy provide. The scenery was stunning, and though we didnt see whales this time we did see lots of sea lions, seals, bears, eagles, etc. Toddy had warned... More

This was one of the highlights of our recent trip to BC. Yes it's pricey, but worth every penny. Toddy let us know beforehand that the whale sightings were down this summer. No worries though as we saw several bears, 4 or 5 eagles and lots of sea lions. The boat has all the comforts of home. The lunch is... More

I was a guest on the trip of August 3rd, 2014 along with 2 of my friends. What I recall is that Archipelago was thoughtful enough to postpone the trip for a couple of hours to try to give the fog a chance to clear up some. I liked that. And it gave us opportunity to get a great latte... More

We booked the trip months in advance whilst in the UK and Toddy was really helpful in making sure we got exactly what we were hoping for. On the day of our cruise there was a thick fog bank covering Ucluelet and the Broken Island Group and the guys decided to start the trip a couple of hours later hoping... More

This was our second trip aboard the "Raincoast Maiden" with Al and Toddy. And it was as good as we remembered from our first trip. Good weather, lots to see, a wonderful lunch, and 2 very knowledgeable crew. We'll be making a return trip next year for sure!

Absolutely one of the best cruises ....... A bargain at twice the price. Thanks for allowing our family to share your home on the water. We appreciated how well organized and informative you were. Love, loved my vantage point on the bow of the boat. We saw mother nature at her finest. Linda B

The Broken Group Island trip is a lovely cruise even if you don't see any whales. The early mist and fog make the islands magical, and you will see various birds, seals and sea lions, and maybe a bear. The lunch is nice but not large, prepared by a high-end restaurant in Ukee. Every aspect of the trip was handled... More

Me and my wife were part of their Wildlife cruise and absolutely loved it. They were amazing people to be around and comfortable. They knew the place, they knew what they were talking about, the pit stop for lunch was amazing enjoyed every bit of it. I recommend this to everyone that visits ucluelet/tofino.
