Fantastic walk around the lake for all ages with different routes and length of duration. Brilliant kids playground, all safely enclosed with award winning cafe for that coffee or icecream afterwards. Even a nine hole golf course for the really active! Take some bread to feed the geese/swans and maybe wellies this time of year. A haven for dog walkers... More

My children - 7 and 5 - love this place. Fab for cycling, a great outdoor play area and good food at the café.

We go running here regularly: you can simply do laps around the main lake, but there are also quite a few other lakes surrounding the main one (which are often quieter/less busy). This means you can vary the route according to how far you want to run, and how much variety you want in your route. It's mostly flat with... More

Have always visited Dinton as we live locally, beautiful park and lakes, perfect for an afternoon walk or picnic in the sunshine. They have recently invested a lot of money into the play area and completely redesigned and rebuilt it - looks a lot more natural (very wooden) and the children seem to love it. The Dragonfly café is expensive... More

Dinton Pastures is our favourite park and our son just adores the playground. We often take the bread for the swans and most of the time use the Dragonfly Cafe. The facilities on site are great with clean toilets and on a wet / cold day a burning log fire in the cafe. My only criticism is the charge for... More

The play area at Dinton has been totally revamped and rebuilt, it is absolutely fabulous, so well designed great fun for kids and imaginative play, particularly liked the tipple type structures where the children can build dens. Do feel cafe is a bit pricey and toilets could be cleaner. Walks around the lakes are great too, suitable for push chairs... More

We recently attended an excellent 2 day basket weaving course run by Christine Brewster that we would highly recommend. The course however was held in the run down activity centre which: - smelt of damp - was dirty - had unacceptable levels of cleanliness in the ladies which also looked like someone had slapped a bit of paint around and... Made up of old gravel workings it is amazing how quickly nature claims back its own. Great children's play area and plenty of places to feed the ducks plus for the more energetic cycle paths, walks and water sports. Would imagine very busy at the weekend as on a Thursday lunchtime it was certainly filling up.

We love this place. My daughter is 5, great walks kayaking and brilliant new play around with beaches, wooden structures and a nod to Dr Seuss. A great cafe and plenty of parking at a small price, but entry is free thereafter. Recommended.
