We enjoy visiting Bragg Creek and spending some time in nature in the Provincial Park. The trails are easy walking for the most part and it is a very peaceful environment. Take a picnic lunch and relax here.

Just a short 20 minute drive down Highway 22 sits a little jewel of a park. It's a favorite spot for the locals to walk their dogs, or stroll through the woods and enjoy the fresh air and glorious scenery. The rocks will tempt you to take them home, instead, take plenty of photos to remind you of your trip.... More

Just outside the town of Bragg Creek, this lovely provincial park is the perfect place for a picnic, hike, exploring the Elbow River or even just laying back on a blanket, enjoying being outdoors. My husband and I hiked the trails up the foothills then relaxed on the riverbank while a group of seniors were having a picnic and a... More

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Dishes are tasty and well proportioned. On a cool day, you must try the beet spinach salad. The beets are warm and the walnut balsamic dressing kicks everything up a notch. Highly recommended.

A little gem for small family groups. A nice walk/hike along the river. Awesome spot for skipping rocks with little boys (& girls too). Not too far from Calgary. Fall (mid October) was a good time to visit, it was quiet and the leaves were changing colors. Not sure how busy would get in the middle of summer.

We came out from Calgary to give this park a try. It wasn't at all practical for a family with young children. The picnic area is very separated from the water. We had to eat lunch and then pack up and go down to the creek rather than set up and stay in one spot for the day. It's only... More

Tried to go to a couple litttle parks around Calgary today. Everything was so busy could not even find a place to park. Drove out to this lttle park in Bragg Creek and it was quite nice. Although damaged by the floods of 2013 the picnic area was still there. Walked to the river & enjoyed the little hiking trail... More
