“Vodka, Gin & Whiskey... A must go in Pemberton!!!”

Went to the Pemberton Distillery with some friends and made a point to do the tour ($5), Tyler who co-owns with his wife Lorien gave us a very interesting tour of their facility and took time to explain the process from beginning to end and happily answered all our questions. I've been to lots of distilleries in Europe, but this one is something unique. The young couple that runs it are absolutely charming, and the husband is very knowledgeable (he did his degree in the brewing and distilling program at Herriot-Watt University). We learned how they make their spirits - vodka, gin, whisky. And were able to taste the vodka and gin - which were very good, btw, The vodka is full of body with subtle spice that lingers like a great scotch. It doesn't look like much from the outside, a building on the end of a small business/industrial area just outside Pemberton. Don't let that throw you off, it's a cool business that's worth learning about. The "tour" will take you into one large room and shows you the distilling equipment and process they go through to make Schramm's Vodka as... More
