we attended a fall flavours event here and was pretty impressed with the museum as well! The equipment and exhibits were pretty informative.

The potato museum is average across the board. The portion of the museum on the actual town was almost better and actually worth seeing. The potato museum itself is not as fun as it sounds, but worth a quick stop just for the novelty. However the restaurant was not good! If you are with your family, ask for the family... More

We visited The Potato Museum in 2012. It was well worth the price of admission. Though I was not born in Aroostook County, Maine, I grew up there--working many a harvest season either picking or on a harvestor. So it was was interesting to see the history of the PEI potato and the many machines, especially the history behind the... More

We stopped here on our travels across PEI. It's a bit off the beaten path, but is well worth visiting. If you don't learn any interesting facts about the potato, it's your own fault! There are also extensive displays of farm equipment and local memorabilia. Our favorite part was the museum café, and the different potato dishes that are offered... More

They grow a lot of potatoes on Prince Edward Island with many varieties. We learned by watching a video that there is a small laboratory on a little island where they find ways to prevent potato blight and viruses and keep unhealthy plants out of the island's farms. An interesting stop.

Who knew there was so much to learn about potatoes! But after seeing acres and acres of beautiful blooming potato fields as we drove around the island, we knew we owed it to ourselves to check out this museum. Great exhibits, especially the one with all the different potato diseases, displayed in little coffins. Enjoyed the fresh cut French fries... More

Most people in general are not particularly passionate for potatoes, however the appeal of the Canadian Potato Museum does not require enthusiasm for potatoes. This unique roadside attraction is symbolic of PEI's potato history, and is a neat little spot to stop over at. While I found the information to be a little overwhelming (realistically you won't be reading everything)... More

A visit to the museum takes just over 30 minutes and is $8.00 plus tax. A little over priced. The information of the history of the potato, and the antique farm machinery was well presented. We then ordered lunch at the restaurant. ( You have to pre pay ) My potato soup, grilled cheese on potato bread and fully loaded... More
