This is a great little museum with lots of history on Haileybury and the surrounding area. A lot of it is focused on the Great Fire. Some highlights include a streetcar, a mini model of Haileybury, an old firetruck, a wind up music box (really cool!), jail and the original trapdoor they use to hang people. The area behind the... It only takes a couple of moments to go back in time and see what used to be. I was impressed with the Heritage Museum and the items they have been provided with. We have an area so rich in history. It was surprising the people I knew in the photographs. It is worth the time to take a moment... More

Fire Documentation and pictorial and artifact presentation are great. Also a display on Leslie McFarlane, ghost writer of The Hardy Boys series and a few Nancy Drew books. Tours available most times

In August 2012, My sister and I and our spouses visited the Haileybury Museum. We were most interested in visiting the home-town area of our mother, Margie Montgomery, and her family. Alex and his wife Annie and their two young boys arrived in New Liskeard in 1902. Both men at the museum were very helpful. Stories that our mother had... More

Check it out if you're in Haileybury, they have alot of nice displays especially the old streetcar. My children used to love going there when Danny worked there, he would always remember them even there names. Stop by it's worth the visit
