We are a couple in our mid 50's not in the best of shape, we did not expect this adventure to be so challenging, actually dangerous on these new trails they have. I fell off the sled 3 times, and every time we had to go up a hill one of us had to get off the sled and walk... More

We absolutely loved our half day dog sledding trip this past Friday . We took our 3 kids (10, 8 & 6) and my 85 year old father. We went on a week day and I think we were very lucky to only have our 2 sleds, the guide took my dad and 2 others. The staff were genuine, knowledgeable... More

No words can truly describe the experience of DogSledding with the Winterdance team. From beginning to end they make everything a pleasure. Meeting the dogs is exhilarating, so loving and affectionate and yet focused when it's time to work. A must for all ages. Thanks to all for this experience.

For my first time dogsledding, this was definitely memorable! I had done a lot of research of other dogsledding companies in the area and this one seemed to be the best choice (price/tour description). My boyfriend and I took the half-day tour on a quiet Monday afternoon and there were only 3 other people there for the tours. Our tour... More

For xmas my husband and I went on a 1/2 day dogsledding tour with Winterdance. It was a lot of fun and a really unique activity to do together. I was really impressed with how warm and helpful they were when I was making the reservation and that I could find info really easily about what happens to their dogs... More

We had a terrific day enjoying our beautiful Canadian outdoors. We dressed for the weather which is a must! We had a fun, adventure filled, half day that included a touch of fitness. The guides were personable and safety conscious yet the experience was authentic. We returned after dark which added to the experience and ride. Our 9 and 10... More

My family had a private tour with Winterdance and stayed in one of their cottages for a few days. It was amazing and the dogs were great. The dogsledding was nice and private. There weren't tons of people out, which gave us the chance to really enjoy the nature. I would definately recommend their private tour and cottage stay to... More

I was lucky enough last winter to participate in a half day dog sled tour with Winterdance Dogsled tours in Haliburton. What an incredible experience! This was money well spent. The morning started with a comprehensive instructional session on the duties and responsibilities of participants, followed by a meet and greet with our team of dogs. The guides were knowledgeable,... More

I have to say that most people will absolutely love dogsledding and although we liked it too I felt that this tour could have been GREAT but for it's greediness. If you've ever been horseback riding you know how riding nose-to-tail is lame and makes for a stop-go halting experience and that's what Winterdance is guilty of. You've got so... More
