The interpretive centre is full of 3d maps, great pictures, and had a moose in the parking lot the day we were there, oh and spotless bathrooms too. Really well done.

The Information Center is the place to begin your adventure into the Wells Gray Provincial Park and Clearwater. You will find maps and literature, historical and natural history displays. You will be able to book accommodations and excursions, use the internet and have some refreshments. Relax and enjoy our beautiful building and grounds. You are welcome!

Nice building, conveniently located at the entrance road to Wells Gray Park and the Yellowhead Highway. The moose statue outside the front of the building is cute and a great photo opportunity. There are public washrooms, public pay phone, gift stores complete with local crafts, lots of parking, conveniently located across from restaurants, a pub, accommodations, and a gas station....
