We had a really hectic start of our vacation and these guys helped us to also make it a wonderful start! First we took the boat to Azure Lake. Here we went up to the Rainbow Falls and afterwards we had a great lunch (hotdogs, marshmallows, hot chocolate, coffee/tea; anything you could wish for!). Because we were staying the night,... More

The one hour tour was interesting because of the information from the chatty boat driver, not because of the lake. It's just a lake, and we didn't see anything special. The lunch of smoked trout, bean salad, garnishes, bannock and beverage was OK but rather skimpy. Overall, rather pricey at $60.

Great day out, across 2 beautiful lakes (plus a river), hosted by a really fun, knowledgeable guide (sorry, I don't know his name! ), with canoeing, swimming and a lovely lunch all thrown in. Thoroughly recommend it

We did the full day trip to Rainbow Falls with three guides and had a wonderful trip on a warm sunny day, the weather will make all the difference on this type of trip so plan your excursion with care. The meeting point is the Clearwater cafe which is staffed with very friendly people and offer free coffee. Once underway... More

Did a guided canoe tour with my husband. Erin our guide was a bundle of laughs and so informative about the lake and surrounding rainforest. The hike was challenging and we weren't told by the booking company about it so ended up doing it in sandals however Erin was patient and the view at the top was well worth the... More

Local to the area and had never really thought about taking the tour up to Rainbow falls, but decided to give it a go in the Autumn and it was stunning! Loved it. Great guides, lovely cafe, beautiful location!

We were fortunate to be the only two on the boat so had our great guide, Ray, all to ourselves. Not only was he very knowledgeable about the area, but he was great fun. Lunch was excellent. by doing the boat trip you get to see parts of the lake that are not visible from the shore.

I think this has the potential to be great but it is overpriced ($55 for 1 hour boat trip per person) .... Can't comment on the views as it rained very heavily from 5 minutes in for the entire trip so all windows were shut and we couldn't see! Ray our guide was great and I'm sure a huge asset... More

We didn't do a lake tour as we missed it but having seen all the amazing scenery we could on the way up to here, we were pleasantly surprised to find a little snackery type cafe here with a gorgeous view! There's a limited selection but it's an amazing selection to chose from, be it soup, a variety snack plate,... More

We didn't go on a boat tour, but stopped in the cafe...very friendly and helpful, nice cake and cuppa but very limited choice of food. Maybe it will change higher in the season. Remember - the tiny shop and this cafe are the ONLY places you can buy food between here and Clearwater town 60km away!! Maybe take a picnic... More
