Great place to stop and take a tour and grab a beer. Even if you don't take the tour, stop in at the gift shop to browse. Lots of history, great tour guide, and overall a fun side trip if you are passing through.

We were fascinated with the process right from the start of the tour. Our guide Heather started outside with a history of the Columbia brewery - an amalgamation of four smaller breweries in the area. They chose Creston because of the water. A lot of the talking is done outside as the facilities are noisy in the production area. We... More

We visited intending to go on a tour but decided not to after all as we had our children with us (2.5 years and 7 weeks). Had been several years ago. Many times since we've come by and they were closed. I often expected them to be open on weekends but they weren't. Now it looks like they do have... More

Before the tour or afterwards there is always... More

We really, really enjoyed our visit of the Columbia Brewery, the makers of Kokanee Glacier Beer, in Creston, B.C.! The beer that comes out of the ice cold vats is way better than the beer in the bottles and cans that we get here in the USA. Their "mascot" Sasquatch stands out in the parking area carrying a box of... More

We've drove by the Columbia Brewery previously but because we got there late we missed their tours. Tip is for you to plan ahead and see when their tour hours are so you don't drive all the way to be disappointed. Finally we made it on another trip and took the tour. The tour requires some walking esp up and... More

The tour of the brewery was very informative. You have to climb up and stairs for the tour. Good shoes and stamina. Excellent info on the process from start to finish. Recycling glass bottles etc. great souvenir shop.

Fell in love with Kokanee on a trip summer 2013 and swore to make it to the brewery on this year's motorcycle trip. Mission accomplished! The tour is extremely informative and the brewery is exceptionally clean. Our tour guide Nastassia really knows her stuff when if comes to Columbia brewery products. I was the last tour of the day on... More
