We were only going to stay for a few hours but ended up staying the whole day, fantastic being able to have a go at both snowboarding and skiing, my only downfall was the food, especially the service, we ordered our meals and went to sit down, food came out very quickly which we were impressed with. Now downfall, the... More

This has got to be the most thrilling of all exercises!!! My grandson ended up taking out a 12 month membership here, and stays all day on a Saturday!! I tried it,and found it was truly breathtaking! and I'm in my 70's!!!

This is such a awesome place to hang out. My children and husband love snowboarding here, they also have lessons with fun enthusiastic people. Coffee and food at the cafe is yummy. This place has become our second home.... Great place to keep your skills going until the snow season at the mountain. Best of all I keep warm while... More

We had a blast. Took my kids there for the first time and they loved every minute of it. As it was their first visit, we opted for tubing to expose them them to that type of sporting environment. Next time we'll try getting them on skis or snowboards. Apart from it being an extremely busy day with long queues... More

Snowplanet is a perfect place to teach the Children (of whatever age) to ski. The snow is always in good condition, no melt, no ice. The conditions are always perfect. No Wind, No Rain, No sleet. The light is always good, but without Sun, there is little chance of Snowblindness. This means that many of the distractions of a real... More

Great place to go with kids, but also great fun for grown-ups... Worth getting Grabone or GoBook vouchers as it can be expensive for a family. Lessons for kids are brilliant... Food in the restaurant is good and reasonably priced - book a table in advance to make sure there's space!

A great place to go and ski or board. It has good facilities for young and old a lovely bar , cafe if you want to sit and watch in the warm. they have every thing you need to ski and the snow is always perfect. But dress warm its just like being in a giant freezer.

As being a New Zealander I have visited this attraction quite a bit. If you want to get ready for winter or are visiting NZ in the summer this is the place to go to. Snowplanet has both earners and Intermediate slopes as well as a terrain park Boxes, Rails, Jumps and may other terrain park features (these tend change... More

So its the middle of summer and you are looking for something to do. How about a ski or snowboard. Whilst it is a bit icy I was truly impressed with the facility. It even had a nice café with a viewing window so I could watch kids while having a coffee.

Snowplanet is a great place to take kids who are learning to ski but I would like to see a half way platform in the snow on the left hand lift so that people who are beyond the magic carpet but not good enough to all the way to the top can get off safely. There should also be a... More
