My husband and I traveled to Yoho National Park, British Columbia, Canada in September of 2008 to get away from it all. We were overwhelmed by the beauty and majeisty of this place! We stayed in a cabin at Cathedral Mountain Lodge which is a very remote site nestled between the Kicking Horse River and Cathedral Mountain. Talk about peace... more

The road to these falls is only accessible from the eastbound carriageway of the Trans-Canada highway, soon after you enter Yoho National Park. A 2km dirt road takes you to the car park. These falls are worth the walk (1.5 miles) along the path from the car park. Initially the path looks as if it is suitable for pushchairs/wheelchairs but... more
