Thanks Marl

It is in my opinion the best museum featuring the Alaska Highway and British Columbia's North-East. Thanks to the tireless efforts of Marl Brown, the founder.

This place is so interesting! They work so hard to maintain the rich history of the area. Marl does an amazing job with the vehicles. They staff were all very knowledgeable and friendly. They took the time to talk with us and show us the exhibits and history behind them. I would stop again as there is so much to... More

I am glad that we stopped there. I am not such a machinery buff, but my older brother is--and he really enjoyed our visit there.

This was more a guy thing but I still really liked it. Old cars that work in a picture perfect garage. Full of antiques and collectibles. The movie on the making of the Alaska highway was very enjoyable, different from the one we saw in Dawson Creek. Would highly suggest you see it!

We were greeting warmly by the caretaker, the impromptu visit was only going to be outbuildings and what can be seen in the yard. We were treated to a VIP tour and enjoyed every part of this best museum. I have been inside myself many times and every time I discover new treasures.

Wow! Lots of stuff to see! Well worth the admission! More than just the one building...go out back to the other houses and check out the vehicles etc! Young kids will find it interesting too! For a small town, I would say this is a must see! Thank you!

If you are in Fort Nelson, this is the place to visit. The curatorsof the museum are long time residents of the town and will gladly share fun and lively stories from theirpast if they are there. The museum has numerous educational displays preserving the history of the area. Even though we live here, we still make a yearly trip... More

This is an excellent little piece of history about the Trail of 42 and local history of the Alaska Highway. There are animal exhibits, lots of nostalgic pieces and one amazing man- Marl Brown!
