Hop on one of the steamships that sail from Muskoka Wharf and sail past some amazing cottages along "Millionaires Mile". In the evening, stroll along the boardwalk with a hand scooped cone and take in a spectacular, Muskoka sunset. Doesn't get better than this.

A beautiful lakeside oasis. Stayed at the Lakes last year, i loved the peace and serenity. Lovely tea shop nearby and lots of good eating places. A must see place to visit

So between the gorgeous little shops, candle factory, fun places to eat and if course hiking we had a blast. My 5 yr old was so relaxed there as were we. I can see why Muskoka... More

I was born here in Muskoka and have lived my life on the Lakes here in Cottage Country.. Now a 62 we are still loving this area of beauty in all seasons. I am one of eleven children still in Bracebridge and Gravenhurst areas we have all been raised to love this give of God to us all.

I love taking my kids there just to walk the docks and boardwalk. We usually grab and ice cream and watch the boats coming and going. Great place to change things up.

We were a little too late in the season so most of the leaves had fallen but the area is still very scenic.

We did the circle tour starting at Gravenhurst where we found the big yellow Muskoka chair. We walked on the Muskoka Lake wharf where two benches allowed you to sit and admire the lake and its scenic beauty. We did the circle tour with one of the stops being Bala, where we stopped at Don's Bakery and bought some pastries... More

If you've never been to Muskoka then you are missing something. This is one beautiful area. Well that's not really accurate. This is not one area. It's a region. Each area is a little different. Each trail is a little different. What is the same is you will experience some of the best nature anywhere. Plan your route and where... More
