Homemade ice cream - yum!

Just enjoyed homemade ginger ice cream at this shop in Lunenburg. Delicious and refreshing. Definitely the place to go while visiting this quaint town!

The fudge and ice cream here are really good so I would recommend it. The service however is lacklustre but not horrible. Would recommend stopping in

The ice cream was AMAZING! Some flavors are made in store, some are commercial dairy ice cream! I had the homemade strawberry which was incredible! The waffle cones were being made right in front of you and the heavenly aroma was intoxicating :) The price was very standard for an ice cream shoppe! Staff were so helpful and will give... More

I looked forward to having ice cream for tonight's dessert all day. I went by Sweet Treasures this morning to check out the ice cream and to find out what time it closed so I would be sure to get there before closing. I found out they had Scotsburn ice cream as well as homemade ice cream, which I rarely... More

We walked by here on the way to our Inn. I am very glad we stopped in. They have the most delicious ice cream! If you are a chocolate lover, I highly recommend the Death by Chocolate ice cream! Very delicious! My husband tried the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough in a homemade waffle cone! We loved this place! They also... More

Went yesterday, four of us, we got the "homemade" chocolate ice cream and cookie dough ice cream. Neither tasted like real ice cream, they were worse than most store bought frozen desserts which isn't comparable to real icecream . Not to mention with the neon food coloring how un appealing it was. I don't know how they got rated 5... More

Our server at The Salt Shaker Deli, just across the street from Sweet Treasures, highly recommended the ice cream store after we asked her about it. We always will treasure her advice, for that evening, it was indeed a sweet walk back to our B&B with Death by Chocolate and Orange-Pineapple cones. The next afternoon, it was Wild Blueberry and... I have had ice cream here several times over the years, on day trips to Lunenburg. I was happy to see that this store gets excellent reviews on both Trip Advisor and Yelp. Yesterday I had a small butter pecan ice cream and it was huge. And scrumptious. What pleases me is that my waffle cone is included in the... More

Wonderful homemade ice cream and homemade waffle cones. Reasonable prices, as one scoop is a big scoop. Very friendly staff. Some of us also tried the milkshakes and they were good too!

We stopped in on a warm July evening. They had homemade ice cream flavours as well as commercial ones. We tried the homemade pistachio and the homemade maple walnut in waffle cones. They were delicious! Since there was only one table inside, we decided to eat and continue our walk through the pretty town.

Thank B R
