We have been on several whale-watching cruises and this, by far, was the worst. We didn't do our homework and should have paid more attention to the bad reviews; they are accurate. We recognize that spotting whales is a matter of luck and we wouldn't have been nearly as annoyed not seeing any if the woman in the office hadn't... More

Wish I had read the reviews before going. Our trip was as described by many of the low reviews. No whales. We saw a couple common harbour seals on a rock at one point. Good views of the Lunenburg Harbour and sea caves, but consider whether you want to spend this much to see just that.

If you plan to go on any whale watching cruise remember that you can't schedule whales to show up on demand. It is a chance you take whether or not you see any wild life. If you go with the attitude that you are going to enjoy some time on the ocean then you will not be disappointed. I just... More

Our group of 25 adults and children really enjoyed our trip. It was a damp day and calling for some weather so we opted for the shore tours of lunenburg, the ovens. We also saw some seals which the kids really enjoyed. We were lucky to also see some lobster fishermen pulling traps. Some of our group is from here... More

The trip started out great, the women at the counter was very friendly and I boarded the boat with the attitude that if we see whales great, but if we don't at least I got to spend some time on the water with my boyfriend and his family, my favourite place to be. The crew was great, gave us a... More

We chose a beautiful and sea calm Saturday afternoon. Our attitude going in was to enjoy the boat ride, some incredible scenery including caves...and that everything else would be a bonus. We saw absolutely nothing during the 3 hours except for 1 porpoise. Instead of becoming upset, we chose to go the social route and had fun and chatted with... More

This was the most disappointing whale watching trip we've ever been on with not even a sighting in the distance. We had been told the humpbacks had moved on but that sighting of minke whales was likely. First there was a trip round the harbour then we saw The Ovens sea caves and a couple of seals. The mood on... More

As others have said, its a tricky business looking for whales. Unless as in many places with multiple boats, the captains are sharing locations and visiting the whales in groups or one after the other, they are not easy to find. We were out on a good day the crew did find whales. The boat left roughly on time and... More

We know we were a little early in the season, and the weather was pretty horrible (cold), but we did expect to be taken out to see the seals and puffins if whales were not around. Instead, we saw only seals and then went back to the dock, arriving earlier than the time the tour was supposed to be over... More

The worst whale watching tour I've been on. They recommend making reservations though they don't hold them (and don't stick to their own schedule (leaving 5 min early the first trip and 10 min late the second) Was traveling really fast (would pass a whale without even knowing it) soaking everyone in the rear of the boat (good thing it...
