We arrived late on Thanksgiving day, so most of town was already closed up. On a whim decided to go with the tour - and it was great. The pace of the horse, stories and sights all go together. This was a fun way to see and learn lots in a brief time.

We have taken the tour 4 times this summer. It is a treat to have someone tour us around in a carriage. Each operator has their own unique historical knowledge. Always a pleasant and happy time. For those with weak knees, this is the ideal way to challenge the steep town streets. We plan on having many more visitors and... More

Rebecca and Clifford were fabulous. Clifford especially kept the buggy going in the right direction while Rebecca filled us with lots of historical information about Lunenburg. Lots of humor added rapt no extra cost! A great way to start our stay in the town before checking in to our B&B. Highly recommend this tour.

We arrived in Lunenburg on a beautiful day - we came early , planning to have supper and to see the show 'Glimpses'. Travelling with my senior parents - being seniors they love to be early for everything. :) I saw the Trot in Time Buggy Tours and thought they would love that so we went over to enquire about... I was persuaded by my companions to take a buggy ride around Lunenburg. I was really glad they did, despite being soaked by a rain shower halfway round! (The company do provide umbrellas in the buggy - good thinking!) . Excellent driver/ guide and a horse who could have taken us around on his own - if only he could... More

A long wait, but we had a good time. The website said they start a 930am so we got there about quarterly past, a kid came by on a bike and said it would be closer to ten, then a man drove by and said it would be 1020 or 1030. They did finally arrive and we got back just... More

You have to do this. We had a very fun and knowledgable time. The reception guy (John if i remembered right) was very very warm and helpful. Tour guide was funny and very knowledgeable. The town was lovely and very European. Worth the time and money

This tour was a lot of fun. Our guide was Doris and our horse was Jim. Doris was having problems talking and probably would have shared more had she felt better. She had a lot of silly jokes that were kind of fun. Would have appreciated more history and stories about the area. The man taking care of "reservations" was... More

This horse and buggy tour was a good way to get an overview of the town. The guy who signed us up was funny and friendly. I got the feeling they respect the horses. We had to wait for the horse to have some oats before we could go, and part way through the tour we stopped for the horse... More
