When we crawled out of our rental van in Lunenburg , we were greeted by Basil. He was funny, friendly and knowledgeable. After exchanging a few jokes, we took the carriage tour. Our young guide was terrific and Duke knew exactly where to take us. The trip was leisurely and informative. Would definitely recommend this tour.

We enjoyed the Trot in time tour but our guide was new and wasn't able to answer any of our questions about the city. A good way to see the town if you are unable to walk.

The waitress at the restaurant where we had lunch strongly recommended that we take this tour. We went to do so, but the "old craggy guy" insulted my husband before we even got in the carriage, so needless to say, we decided not to proceed. It's a shame, because walking around town on our own meant that we missed hearing... More

Everyone we told that we were going to stop in Lunenburg said we had to take the Trot in time carriage ride. What a treat! Our driver was this old craggy guy who gave us a wonderful description of the town, its people and industry. He showed us all around town and gave us an insight into how these people... More

This was an excellent way to see and hear some of Lunenburg's history from the horse drawn carriage. Charlie knew his way around and also obeyed stop signs with very little prompting from Christine, our guide. The weather was also picture perfect today with a slight breeze. Many opportunities for photographs.

We had visitors around that were not altogether able to walk very much, but we wanted to show them Lunenburg. Trot in time was perfect for this. We were able to get out and about and see the town, without having to walk around all day. Just for good measure we got a commentary on the towns history from the... More

We were in Lunenberg for a short day and wanted to tour the town and find out what is happening and where everything is. Trot in Time was the perfect way. They tour the whole old town and deliver a great history for practically every town site. Loads of little known facts about the town, the architecture and the historical... More

Even though I live in Lunenburg, there are still historical information that you can learn. I enjoyed my trip around Lunenburg with horse and Buggy. Trot in Time is wonderful and enjoyable. The staff is very knowledgable and informative and takes the time to stop and explain to you the history of buildings, etc. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Lunenburg.... More

This should be the highlight of a visit to Lunenburg - and could be if you have the owner or a very experienced driver/ guide on your carriage. Unfortunately, our driver had been there only2 months - did not know ANY of the history of the city, except the small bits he had learned on his "training" run. If it... More

A 25 minute ride with 90 seconds of information. If our guide had knowledge of the historial facts she didn't share them with us. Not sure she was sure what the Blue Nose II was much less it's significance. We did learn how horrible and upset one of her previous clients from France was earlier that day and we did... More
