Our guide was Rebecca and the horse was called Legend. We had our own carriage for a family of 4. The tour took 35 minutes and meandered through the town. The guide was very informed and gave us some really interesting historic information on the original inhabitants, fishing heritage and architecture. Many of the homes date back to the 1700's.... My wife and I arrived in Lunenburg in the early afternoon. I had researched this horse drawn carriage tour prior to leaving home. The driver was very familiar with Lunenburg and presented the signts in a very entertaining way. We had to wait but only a short while. There are no reservations but two horse drawn carriages make the run.... More

A 3km 35 minutes tour of UNESCO heritage town of Lunenberg. Just imagine, the entire town designated as an heritage site. All the houses have to be preserved on the original ginger bread design and materials. The tour itself was informative and gave a good overview of the history of the town and its founding people. The churches and the... More

We truly enjoyed our ride through Lunenburg. Our guide ( I forgot her name Sorry) and Charlie our horse were amazing and very knowledgeable. What an amazing little town.

When we crawled out of our rental van in Lunenburg , we were greeted by Basil. He was funny, friendly and knowledgeable. After exchanging a few jokes, we took the carriage tour. Our young guide was terrific and Duke knew exactly where to take us. The trip was leisurely and informative. Would definitely recommend this tour.

We enjoyed the Trot in time tour but our guide was new and wasn't able to answer any of our questions about the city. A good way to see the town if you are unable to walk.

The waitress at the restaurant where we had lunch strongly recommended that we take this tour. We went to do so, but the "old craggy guy" insulted my husband before we even got in the carriage, so needless to say, we decided not to proceed. It's a shame, because walking around town on our own meant that we missed hearing... More

Everyone we told that we were going to stop in Lunenburg said we had to take the Trot in time carriage ride. What a treat! Our driver was this old craggy guy who gave us a wonderful description of the town, its people and industry. He showed us all around town and gave us an insight into how these people... More

This was an excellent way to see and hear some of Lunenburg's history from the horse drawn carriage. Charlie knew his way around and also obeyed stop signs with very little prompting from Christine, our guide. The weather was also picture perfect today with a slight breeze. Many opportunities for photographs.

We had visitors around that were not altogether able to walk very much, but we wanted to show them Lunenburg. Trot in time was perfect for this. We were able to get out and about and see the town, without having to walk around all day. Just for good measure we got a commentary on the towns history from the... More
