We decided to take the tour and were glad we did. Since we were driving a motorhome, it is hard to just drive around to see much of the town and this was a way to do that and learn some history at the same time. The driver Chris was knowledgeable and although many of her jokes were pretty corny,... More

This is something different to do if you have time. The driver was informative and pointed out many interesting buildings and sights. The jokes were corny. The guy taking names for rides was not very organized. He must have been related to the owner.

Since Lunenburg is quite hilly, my husband and I found this was an excellent way to see the lovely town of Lunenburg.

This horse and buggy tour of the city was very entertaining! The "driver/tour guide" was quite funny, and cheerful with lots of interesting tidbits of information about Lunenburg. The best part of this particular tour was having the horse (named Legend) stop at intersections and actually looking both ways for any oncoming traffic, which was rather funny to witness!!

It's a great way to learn about the history of the village without walking up the steep streets in the heat! It did get warm on the buggy though. Our tour guide was great, funny and informative.

The horse had a fun personality, the driver has knowledgeable and friendly, the route let's you see the majority of the old town. What a great way to see it all without having to walk it! It was quite cheap as compared to horse drawn carriage rides in other towns (Quebec City, etc). I highly recommend.

The tour with horse drawn buggy was right across from our hotel,as it is quite hilly it is a good way to see the area if health issues prevent you from walking tour. They give you a 45 minute tour of all the old homes, some built in the late 1700s took us by the St.John's Angelican Church which she recommended... More

We stopped in Lunenberg on our way down the coast for lunch and we spotted this company just down the street. The moment I walked up I knew I was hooked. The guy they had explaining what the tour offered was hilarious! We rode with Rebecca and Legend and had the best time! I had no idea Lunenberg had such... More

Our guide was Rebecca and the horse was called Legend. We had our own carriage for a family of 4. The tour took 35 minutes and meandered through the town. The guide was very informed and gave us some really interesting historic information on the original inhabitants, fishing heritage and architecture. Many of the homes date back to the 1700's....
