A good way to see the highlights of the town

This horse and buggy tour was a good way to get an overview of the town. The guy who signed us up was funny and friendly. I got the feeling they respect the horses. We had to... read more

This horse and buggy tour was a good way to get an overview of the town. The guy who signed us up was funny and friendly. I got the feeling they respect the horses. We had to wait for the horse to have some oats before we could go, and part way through the tour we stopped for the horse... More

We are not normally ones to rant online. But this business was very unprofessional. They had beautiful horses and decent personalities in the employees. We had to wait 30 minutes for our tour with our two children. There were two buggies ready to go; yet the gentleman who seemed to be in charge wanted us to wait and "fill the... More

We decided to take the tour and were glad we did. Since we were driving a motorhome, it is hard to just drive around to see much of the town and this was a way to do that and learn some history at the same time. The driver Chris was knowledgeable and although many of her jokes were pretty corny,... More

This is something different to do if you have time. The driver was informative and pointed out many interesting buildings and sights. The jokes were corny. The guy taking names for rides was not very organized. He must have been related to the owner.

Since Lunenburg is quite hilly, my husband and I found this was an excellent way to see the lovely town of Lunenburg.

This horse and buggy tour of the city was very entertaining! The "driver/tour guide" was quite funny, and cheerful with lots of interesting tidbits of information about Lunenburg. The best part of this particular tour was having the horse (named Legend) stop at intersections and actually looking both ways for any oncoming traffic, which was rather funny to witness!!

It's a great way to learn about the history of the village without walking up the steep streets in the heat! It did get warm on the buggy though. Our tour guide was great, funny and informative.

The horse had a fun personality, the driver has knowledgeable and friendly, the route let's you see the majority of the old town. What a great way to see it all without having to walk it! It was quite cheap as compared to horse drawn carriage rides in other towns (Quebec City, etc). I highly recommend.
