We stopped at this because my wife is a very avid gardener. To say that this is a great place to visit would be an understatement. When you consider that this place is located in an area just off a major vacation route it is not a very well known attraction. Plus they have a great restaurant that you can... More

I stopped here briefly before leaving New Brunswick on a road trip back to my hometown of Saskatchewan. I thought the gardens and sculptures were lovely. The butterfly room was a treat although there was only one type of butterfly as far as I could tell. I was also looking forward to the roses and many had seen better days.... More

I was disappointed this time, we had been there a few years ago and it was so beautiful that we wanted to return and I wanted to return with my granddaughter, but it didn't measure up to my expectations. I was sure that it would have improved although I didn't know how it could. Last week it looked tired and... More

We stopped here on our way east. It was a very enjoyable visit. So nice and peaceful well laid out with a very good variety of plants. There is also an area in the main building that houses a live butterfly area. All in all would highly recommend a visit.

This botanical garden is one of the best in this part of North America. The plants are nicely grouped and well tended. And easy to find... once you've found Edmunston. The garden also has a resident artist or two and some very interesting sculptures. Only one minor complaint: The people who drew the map of the garden should try to... More

The gardens are beautiful and it's worth the stop. Our favourite part was probably the hedge people towards the entrance depicting the historical people (native and Acadian). You could probably do the entire garden anywhere from 1 to 3 hours depending on how much time you take to relax and enjoy the natural beauty or take photos. A few of... More

The gardens were beautiful, well maintained, tranquil, and relaxing. It was a hot day, but the air was moving, the flowering brook was babbling, and the trees provided lovely dappled shade. And oh! The Butterfly exhibit was magical!

Very well done, much larger than I expected with lovely gardens, water stream, ponds, a small waterfall, herbs, trees, even a charming artist on site who talked about his sculptures. Well worth the detour, and most pleasantly adjacent to the provincial park campground.

As my family and I were camping at La République campsite, which is right next door to the Botanical Gardens, we figured we would go spend a couple of hours at the gardens. Although beautiful, the place is quite small and there really isn't anything spectacular about it. I did however love the friendly staff, absolutely adore the carving master... More

We were there a little early in the season before most of the flowers are in bloom. That aside this is a great place to spend time to enjoy nature at it's best. If you are into nature photography, then this is a *must* place to visit. Just make sure you allow yourself enough time to wander the grounds and... More
