Gain a greater understanding of the wonderful world of plants from a professional herbalist. Hands-on, interactive workshops teach you about the therapeutic, cosmetic and culinary benefits of herbal plants. Be inspired as you wander through the Butterflies of the World pavilion and various themed gardens. Take a moment to stop and listen to the bubbling waters of the Flowery Brook; discover the little secrets hidden in the Alpine Garden; take a rest under the natural roof of the Shade Garden. Khronos, the Celestial Garden, will have you exploring time and space. Enjoy an aromatic cup of herbal tea to round out your visit, while the beauty of the gardens puts you at peace. Come and enjoy a healthy meal on the patio at Café Fora.

I have been to the Botanical Gardens during the spring and summer and enjoyed it immensely. However, this October was the first visit to the Halloween themed weekend and it was amazing. Such a lot of work must have gone into this event. Hundreds and hundreds of decorated pumpkins as well as "ghostly" things in trees and around the grounds.... More

Very excited to go to the botanical garden. The brochure depicted 15 different specialty areas, including a rose garden, shade garden, celestial garden, etc. What a disappointment! The garden had many weeds, and there was very little to see, despite it being summertime. It was quite small and took us very little time to see everything..which was our choice. Save... More

This is a must-see for gardeners from the Canadian Prairies. Because of the cold winter climate in this part of New Brunswick, almost everything that is growing here will also grow on the Prairies, not the case for botanical gardens in B.C., Ontario or even Montreal. For people from warmer climates, it would just be another very nice garden, I... More

The gardens are very pretty and we felt so relaxed walking through the various themed areas. The gardens are manicured to perfection and we saw some interesting species. I'm not a huge garden person, but definitely would return.

On our way back from Nova Scotia, we stopped here just before crossing into Quebec. It's quite an enchanting garden although small for a botanic garden, at only 8 acres. There's lots of variety, some beautiful specimen plants (some invasive species :-( ) and a beautiful water garden running through the park. They have a great vegetable and herb garden... More

We stopped at this because my wife is a very avid gardener. To say that this is a great place to visit would be an understatement. When you consider that this place is located in an area just off a major vacation route it is not a very well known attraction. Plus they have a great restaurant that you can... More

I stopped here briefly before leaving New Brunswick on a road trip back to my hometown of Saskatchewan. I thought the gardens and sculptures were lovely. The butterfly room was a treat although there was only one type of butterfly as far as I could tell. I was also looking forward to the roses and many had seen better days.... More

I was disappointed this time, we had been there a few years ago and it was so beautiful that we wanted to return and I wanted to return with my granddaughter, but it didn't measure up to my expectations. I was sure that it would have improved although I didn't know how it could. Last week it looked tired and... More

We stopped here on our way east. It was a very enjoyable visit. So nice and peaceful well laid out with a very good variety of plants. There is also an area in the main building that houses a live butterfly area. All in all would highly recommend a visit.

This botanical garden is one of the best in this part of North America. The plants are nicely grouped and well tended. And easy to find... once you've found Edmunston. The garden also has a resident artist or two and some very interesting sculptures. Only one minor complaint: The people who drew the map of the garden should try to... More
