These weren't the biggest botanical gardens we visited on our recent trip, but they were nevertheless worth the detour we had to take to reach them. The "plant sculptures" such as the bison and the hand are quite unique and add to their charm. It is a good place to stop and recharge/de-stress for a couple of hours if you... More

I would just write, "JUST GO" but I need 100 charters. The gardens are well kept, the staff is very helpful and friendly and it's a fair price. Like I said...Just go.

Canada offers many attractions, but the Botanical Gardens would be hard to beat! This is truly a must see- go to place on you lists of travel "do's". It is small by comparison to many of the larger botanical gardens found I. Other large cities, however it makes up for size by sheer peacefulness, variety, and no crowds!! The gardens... More

This is an excellent botanical garden. We have visited it several times. A lot of care has been been put into it. We greatly enjoyed our stroll through the gardens. However I wish I could say the same for our visit to the Cafe. At first glance the restaurant is good. The setting is pretty. The menu looks good. However... More

What a fantastic place. We were fortunate enough to have nice weather to wander the grounds and enjoy the gardens - especially the ponds and babbling brooks. Major cities could take lessons here on what a botanical garden is like done right.

It's such a peaceful place, perfect stop when traveling with kids. There is also a small butterfly room.

Very nice garden, with a few sculptures. Very quiet and peaceful. The lake and the pergola are gorgeous.

We didn't have much time to spend at the garden, so we just saw the butterfly exhibit. But we couldn't help noticing as we drove in that the grounds were gorgeous. There were human figures "sculpted" out of plants—or more precisely, grown out of plants rather like "chia pets". I wish we could have spent more time there. Maybe next... More
