We didn't know what to expect. The combination of a zoo and a waterpark is somewhat odd. We arrived early afternoon and first visited the zoo. The animals are in sections per continent which is convenient and offers a nice mix of different species. You follow a circular route per continent. The zoo is very clean and we especially liked... My wife & I drove up from staying a week in Vermont and had an enjoyable day at the zoo. Easy entry, not crowded on a Sunday, most exhibits open and well done. We brought our own lunch as recommended on line. Enjoyed the giraffes, elephants, red panda, monkees, jellyfish, lorikeets, and many other animals. Even though interpretive programs were... More

I recently visited the Granby Zoo while my son was biking at nearby Bromont. It was a beautiful September Saturday afternoon and the place was packed with local families, but I did not feel out of place and really enjoyed spending a few hours at the zoo. Exhibits are in French and English so although almost everyone around will be... More

I have been to Granby Zoo as a child, and again as an adult, and now as an older adult. It is still the best zoo experience I have ever had. great view of well kept animals, lots and lots of places to sit and relax, great eating areas, and clean facilities, great staff in a multitude of languages, not... Great full day at the zoo! The place is popular so arrive early. Animals look good and healthy. You can touch some of them. Animators are really friendly. Bring a pic nic as there are plenty of tables to sit. We were there the last week end Amazoo, the water parc, was open. It was really hot so it made... More

This is a great vacation trip for the whole family. The live animals and the surf pool is an excellent outing for the whole family. It's a little over an hour from Montreal but worth the trip! Gooo....Goooo.... GO!!!!

The Zoo is well done, and the animal habitats are better than most. The gardening is well done and beautiful, and one can't help but think that these zoo animals have it better than most (except the poor jaguar, who is built to run but is imprisoned in a round birdcage that seems to be more appropriate for a much... The zoo is not huge (which made it more manageable) but has a great diversity of animals (the red panda and meerkats were adorable!). We spent the whole day here. The passport was a nice touch, make sure to get it when you enter, we saw others with it and had to ask at info. The kids also loved Amazoo... More

We a family of 2 seniors, one adult and two children (7 & 14) visited the Granby Zoo in August 2015. The children were fascinated by the various animals. The zoo is separated into continents and is easy to tour through for both children and seniors. We spent the whole day there and were never bored. Food there is good... More
