We took a half day trip on the Kootenay river last year and returned for the full day trip this year. What a great day - it always helps when the weather is great, and today hit 32 Celsius. Regardless of the weather, the whole family loved it. The guides were super friendly, and both my seven year old son... More

It was my first time in BC and I went to kootenay river runners and had so much fun on the first day that I had to do it again. I eventually did all 3 rivers they had to offer because I was enjoying myself so much! All three were so fun and with very beautiful scenery! Not to mention... More

We are a family with two teens and decided to do the afternoon 1/2 day. It was a great experience. I was scared at first but this family version was the best way to try rafting. We are planning on going again with our two oldest children...maybe try the whole day one. The lunch they had was very good. Only... More

I was lucky enough to spend a day rafting on the Kootenay with family and friends from Scotland and Canada. Right from pulling out the parking to pulling the raft out the river at the end the day it couldn't have been better. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the organization was spot on. There was plenty of... More

We chose this river because it was appropriate for kids age 8-12 and those are the ages of my kids right now. They loved it. My older child would have liked a little more white water but it was perfect for my 8 year old. Ryan was great, easy going and didn't talk too much (sometimes you just want to... More

Only down side was no pictures were taken as she recommended to leave mine, cause she was suppose to take pictures, but an hour in realized... More

My wife and I have never done a whitewater rafting trip as I am sensitive to motion and my wife values her life more than a wild adventure. However, we were looking for something a little different on our 29th anniversary. After a short ride up the highway and a bumpy ride along a logging road we unloaded at the... More

The onlly trip availabile since we hadn't pre-booked was on Toby Creek. We were looking for a bit more adventure than level 2-3 but booked anyway. What could have been a rather slow trip down the creek was an awful lot of fun for everyone because of our amazing guide Randy. Excellent personality and he made it a lot of... More

My family and I enjoyed the half day beginner. We had a great time on the water. Lunch was provided and was awesome. Guides were friendly and humorous along the trip, but also safety oriented. We hope to return for a full day and a more difficult rafting trip!
