For a small regional museum, the Sooke Region Museum is packed with artifacts and historical items from the area. They highlight the importance of the history of Sooke. Take time out to visit...it's definitely worth it.

You should at least stop by there. It's worth walking through. There are some very interesting things and stories about the area. Loved the lighthouse outside.

This museum is also the visitors' center. It's surprisingly large for Sooke being a rather small city. Lots of useful information for exploring and learning about the Sooke area. Very nice and helpful staff.
