Best rocky beach walk I've ever seen. Two grand kids my wife and I had a wonderful foggy walk on the trail with many excursions onto the rocky beach. Unique sea life and beautiful scenery in late August.

Had a fabulous day on the water with Paul. We were a group of eight aged 6-58 and all of us have great memories to last a life time. We were watching transient orcas just minutes outside Sooke basin. I love the respect shown for these beautiful animals. If you want a great experience and wild life to go with... More

Completely agree with the review that this was worth the trip even if you don't see whales, though be sure to wrap up warm even in the summer and especially for young ones! We went out as a family and sadly the whales did not show but the boat trip was amazing and they could not have put more effort... More

Our party was disappointed that we didn't see any whales. I know that this can't be guaranteed but I think they should come up with a Plan B if the whales aren't out that day, especially if they know there is a very low chance. We were on the water for 2.5 hours and driving around on the water was... More

A small whale watching company in Sooke but where you will be assured to see whales, and much more. It seems that even the Whale Watching companies from Victoria come all the way to the Strait of Juan de Fuca to see more whales than around Victoria. It was an open boat but we were right there among a killer... More

My daughter and I went out on the whale watching expedition on Labour Day. The scenery was breathtaking. With the help of our expedition operator and a few others in the coastal waters , we spotted the whales and spent a good amount of time following them as they surfaced and dove. We then went on to see the sea... More

Ok..what can I say except that Paul and Dan are FUN and great guys! We went on a whale watching excursion with them and even though that one day the whales were in hiding we still had a blast!! We saw the ever so darling sea otter chillin' like a villain and the sea lions barking and swimming in the... More

No whales. Big disappointment. The skipper tried his best to make the trip interesting and was obviously frustrated with lack of whales himself. However I was a bit disappointed with offer at the end- either go on next trip FOC (we were leaving so couldn't) or get a discount which we took. It was such a small discount from price... More

Picture perfect day. Went out in the Zodiac and just happened to be in the middle of 3 pods of Orcas! Amazing. We saw around 40 whales. Heard them chatter and saw many a whale jump out of the ocean. Also was close enough to watch them slap the water to force fish to come to the top for feeding.... More
