This is a surprisingly beautiful fall in the bush region of Ontario. Easy access nice location to enjoy the nature. Caution stay away from the river below falls. This is a power generation river where water raise fast no warning. Oh and take bug spray. No need in August Sept bur June July ouch without.

If you have time to spare these are some nice falls you go see without a lot of walking, actually you can drive right up to them. I would rate them a 5 on a scale of 10.

This is a lovely falls located close to Wawa. We visited near the end of the summer and the falls were only about one-third of their normal strength. However, it is a beautiful sight to see. Go earlier in the year if possible, to see the majesty of the falls. As well, there are several historical markers that are all... More

A bit of Hyw 17, but well worth the visit. You will be on a well kept gravel road, easy by car. Touring bikes should not have a problem either. Skinny tiers, no way.

Watch for the unofficial signs west of Wawa. About 5 miles down dirt roads. An impressive water fall. There is a nice picnic shelter. Permanent toilet facilities were closed, but porta potties were provided. There is a walkway to the side of the falls, but frankly not to a better view. Parking lot was large enough that RV's and my... More

We have passed through this area many times but had never before visited High Falls. It is definitely worth a visit! We were especially intrigued by the connection to Glenn Gould, the famous Canadian pianist.

Short drive off the main road and you see the falls in all their glory. A magnificent sight that you can view from a few different angles if you care to climb a bit.

Lovely picturesque falls and very accessible as even if you are not able to walk up the path to the side you can see the falls easily from the car park. Very good information about the falls from the boards displayed.

Short drive off the main road. Pretty waterfall and only takes 20 to 30 minutes to drive there, snap a few photos and be back on the road. Definitely worth the quick side trip.

Just a short drive, mile or so, down a gravel road you will find the falls. They were not huge the day we were there but it was very pretty. Worth a little side trip if you like to listen to the rushing water and take a few pics.
