This beach is best when the tide is low, however when the tide is high go for a walk on the sea-walk. We love to come here when we have a chance, walk bare feet in the water and see small fish swimming away from us. it is a great swimming spot especially at high tide from the small floating... More

After a long drive from Tofino to Nanaimo, we decided to stop by here. The location was about 45minutes from Nanaimo, place the clean and lots of parking space and the most amazing part is watching the sunset as it goes down the horizon. I've been to so many lakes but this is the warmest lake i've been and really... More

This beach is beautiful for those who enjoy the view! It has many benches & picnic tables to sit at and tons of parking all along the shore. It's not for sunbather as much as the beach is all rock and no sand so it makes it rather difficult to walk and lay on unless you have good shoes and... More

The name quail com Beach conjured up a feeling of quality and anticipation which was not met. Perhaps we were unfortunate that the tide was out.

Wish I could add some pictures of the sunset the other night. I took some pro shots of friends that are gorgeous. If you need photographs done give me a call I am for hire. ;)

The lovely shoreline of Qualicum Beach is a nice place to take a picnic or just sit and breath in the ocean air. Incredibly beautiful, the shoreline has plenty of parking, picnic tables and benches from which to enjoy the oceanfront view. There is a Beach Hut Diner if you wish a hot dog, chips, or a snack, but you... More

This is a large beach where lots of people seem to enjoy it's position. However the beach itself is very rocky in parts and the sand has a greenish muddy coating which has an unpleasant odour. My idea of a good beach is clean soft flow between the toes sand, not this gunk. The walkway at the beach edge is... More

Lovely park to take the kids or walk the dog. Very quiet during the day. Also safe if walking alone. Conveniently located to downtown so you can shop, pick up a snack and then go to the park to eat.

The Qualicum Beach Community Park has lots to offer the family. There are many walking trails that wind through the forest, there is a great childrens playground attached to the playing fields. During the ball season there are six ball diamonds with a smaller field for youth play as well as a central field for blast ball or tee ball... More
