A pleasant enough place to visit... unfortunately spring was early this year and we missed the blooms. The walk through the forest is pleasant, the gardens could have been perked up a little to be fair, the house is open for visits and worth seeing inside. Check local gardeners re the state of the rhododendrum gardens before going - afterall,... More

We visited in mid-May while the rhododendruns were in full bloom. A beautiful walk through the woods and gardens complete with tea and scones and jam in the tea room. Amazing, friendly staff and amazing, delicious food! The atmosphere of the tea room is beautiful and the views of the ocean are stunning!

A great place for a long walk or ride in if you can't walk far. Many nooks to sit, relax and sip a cool drink. Didn't stop for high tea…to expensive for my taste.

Milner's is a lovely adventure with an old English high tea at the end of a garden walk - doesn't get better than that

We have been to Milner Gardens several times on previous trips to the Parksville/Qualicum Beach area and each time we go, we see something different. It is a lovely spot with a fabulous view of the water from the main house. At this time of the year, the spring flowers are in their glory although we understand because of the... More

We had a nice time tromping around Milner Gardens. There were lots of flowers blooming and they keep the grounds in pristine condition. I see that the local university is responsible for the fine upkeep and there are many well-informed staff members milling around. We stopped for delicious tea and snacks in the tea house. It was very cute without... More

The light display was wonderful and the caroling was lovely. We had a very mild winter in the west and it was easy to walk through the gorgeous Christmas atmosphere. A wonderful way to get into the Christmas Spirit.

My husband and I stopped here on a whim just to see. We were told we should do afternoon tea in Victoria but the price was ridiculous so we tried the tea here and so happy we did. It was quaint, quiet, secluded and not expensive. The ladies serving the tea, and crumpets were so sweet and lovely. The Gardens... More

We are glad you stopped by and enjoyed your visit. The Tea Room ladies are an amazing group of volunteers, always lots of great laughter and energy there. Sorry the labyrinth wasn't what you expected, but good to hear you liked the rest of your visit. More

Definitely worth stopping for a walkabout. Lovely old, established gardens with unique flora including some very large rhododendrons and unusual trees. The lawn in front of the main house is just stunning, with views of the ocean. (While we were there, we saw a deer walking along the beach down below.) This is a great place for young kids right...
