Took my grandkids there in August because of the Knome Village. I have lived on the island since 1980 and have never been. I am not sure what I expected, certainly not Butchard Gardens but I expected more than a walk in the forest. The Village was cute and the girls liked it, but if it wasn't for it, there... More

Finally made it to this nature gem. 70 acres of old growth forest with meandering trails leads towards an old English mansion. We had Tea. & Scones in the dining room overlooking the ocean & magnificent grounds. We spent a couple of hours enjoying the nature. This is a must see.

We have been driving by for over ten years and finally decided to take a peak. It's a little piece of heaven. We had a lovely little lunch and tea. All home made and delicious. The staff are all volunteers 70+. We are definitely going to being my parents for high tea.

I had friends visiting from another country and was taking them all over the Island, Loved everything, but they had a lot of sun so thought I would take them somewhere a little shady, so I chose Milner gardens, never been their my self either, what a disappointment, wont go their again, food was poor, place smelt like moth balls.... If you are planning on visiting Milner Gardens, I wld suggest that you treat yourselves to "high tea" at the main house. It is just delightful but be sure to book 24 hours in advance. It's a lovely addition to touring around the woodlands. It has never failed to delight any visitors I've taken there.

Visited the Milner Gardens and Woodland for the whole purpose of having our lunch at the lovely tea room there. It was pretty crowded on that day and parking was really tight at the estate. We had a pleasant time walking in the woodland and garden and enjoyed our tea and lunch at the lovely Camellia tea room. It was... More

Gardens are nice. The git shop is well stocked We had tea on the veranda of the Milner House and it was very nice. They have a lot of jams and they bake good scones. The grounds themselves were beautiful. I can't image how nice it would be other seasons. There are some sequoias that are breathtaking. Was even a... More

What a lovely surprise to discover the Historic Milner House in Milner Gardens and Woodlands. Beautiful walk through the gardens and woodlands and scenic views of the mountains and ocean. Even served Tea and Scones in the Dining Room and Back Veranda - was a special afternoon with a wedding on the lawn of Milner House.

A gem of nature, Milner Gardens is a nature woodland rather then a manicured garden such is Butchart Gardens in Victoria but if you time it right you can enjoy the beautiful display of Rhodos. Any season of the year this is a wonderful place for a stroll while learning about our own natural plants and trees, an education in... More

The friendly volunteers who helped shuttle us from the gate to the Milner Residence and the people who served afternoon tea were wonderful. It was a big garden by the oceanfront with vast rainforest area remained untouched. But what was most impressive was the simply but cozy afternoon tea at the elegant Milner house. With freshly brewed tea, warm scones... More
