After driving by last week to see lines of cars parked along the highway, we had to see for ourselves what the fuss was about. We did have to park on the highway at about 6 p.m. - perhaps that was getting there a bit late - especially if you have wee ones. And a small light or flashlight would... More

Always a highlight of the Christmas season, especially with the grandchildren. It is quite magical and the only REAL Santa is there. In the main house there are singers, food, gift shop and an amazing story teller for the kids. The teddy bear house is a hit too and even the adults can make the train whistle toot. It is... More

On east coast of Vancouver Island between Qualicum Beach and Parksville/French Creek. Been there in the summer and for the Christmas lights decorative special days. The garden is large and be prepared to do some walking. Tea is served from 1 to 4 in the afternoon. The garden has an admission charge, we paid around $5 for the Christmas lights... More

Walk the trails through the woods and admire all the wonderful and plentiful flowers. Of course there are variations throughout the seasons. Special themes at different times throughout the year. It's a good little walk down and a bit of a hike back up. But they have chauffeured transport if you wish. There is a little teahouse to get refreshments... More

This venue is overpriced for what is available. Gate admission is steep and tea, while well steeped, is an expensive cuppa.

We decided to go here on the off chance and on the whole it was a nice day there. Sadly, as soon as we started our walk around the property it start to rain well not just rain but a torrential downfall. We made a quick escape to a vending shop that is on the property and inside were two... More

We read about this garden and decided to go and see it, while in Qualicum. The gardens are beautiful, peaceful but getting there is quite another story. There are no signs leading up to the entrance, by the time we saw the sign pointing to the entrance, we were almost past and had to quickly swerve to the left, thankfully... More

The gardens are beautiful & the house is fantastic and the tea and soup WOW what a great afternoon treat! Walked all the way through the paths on a lovely day and had a great walk, enjoyed the gardens and all the flowers that were still in bloom, saw a few deer. Stopped in at the house and it smelled... Milner Gardens is a lovely place. We visited in the middle of October so there was not very many flowers in bloom. But, the woods and all the grounds were very lovely. The tea room was our highlight. The tea and dessert were delicious and very reasonably priced. The view was beautiful and everyone was very nice. We went twice... More

I live in qualicum Beach and had out of town visitors from England and Vancouver. It was a lovely sunny day so thought a visit to Milner Gardens would be a nice thing to do. Such a lovely experience. We had delicious soup and scones for lunch. We were given a tour of the beautiful house and the history. We... More
