The Fundy Tide Runners whale watching attraction is just a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. The owners are friendly, well organized and full of information about sea life. Riding in the zodiac, you are low on the water, and can get out to where the whales are quickly. It is the rush of a lifetime to see a huge... More

Although I've heard this company is great for seeing whales, their customer service leaves something to be desired. Along with 3 out-of-town friends I booked a spot on the whale watching boat and was assured that we'd go out the following day otherwise I would be contacted. Low and behold the owner decided 4 was two few people to go... More

My husband and I couldn't decide if we wanted the fast-paced, close-to-the action intensity of a zodiac whale watching tour, or if we wanted to do the more elegant, comfortable, watch from a distance while sipping chardonnay and stretching your legs on a tallship type of deal. We ultimately decided to go for the adrelanine rush of the Tide Runner's... More

Although we didn't see any whales, our group (6 adults), still had a great time! We knew that it was a bit too early in the season to be guaranteed seeing any whales but felt that the tour would be worth it and it was. Captain Dave is certainly very familiar with the water, cruising areas, and of the wildlife... More

Visited this family run business today, and what a great experience. As mentioned previously, less time spent commuting, thanks to speed of the zodiac, more time watching. Captain Dave was funny and very informative, and knew where the whales were. When he turned off the engine the whales started circling our boat, which was Amazing. They were so close. Being... More

I was nervous about a "Zodiak boat" but for now reason. Captain Dave seemed to sense my feelings without me needing to utter a word. There were no worries. You do have to dress in full suits (like space suits) and that was pretty cool. The whales were incredible. We were out there in the Bay at least 45 minutes... More

Fundy Tide Runners in St. Andrew is distinguished by using an inflatable Zodiac boat, that holds about 9 passengers. It seemed to be much faster than the alternatives, wasting less time on travel to the whale spotting areas, and more time to view the wildlife. It felt very safe and comfortable and I particularly liked being down low, close to... More

This was a 2 hour trip with maxium of 12 people on a 25' Zodiac boat. It was awesome!! And fun!!! Crazy skipper included, No extra fee required. You are very close to the water and have a duck's eye view of the action. My wife and I enjoyed this greatly. The currents, whales, seals and water fowl and all... More
