Zodiacs are the way to go for getting the best photographic POV & arriving at the whaling grounds de jour ... lickety-split. Capt. Dave has bionic eyes and ears when it comes to whales and is in hot pursuit within seconds of a blow or fin sighting. Oh, and don't worry about getting your fancy camera wet or about getting... An enjoyable 2 hr boat trip from St Andrew through the Bay of Fundy. The owner/pilot is both knowledgeable and professional, and made sure we found some whales to hang out with. The zodiac ride is a bit bumpy but more exciting and faster than the larger boats.

We were very fortunate to see a minke whale breech several times during our trip. I hear it is very rare. Dave, our tour guide seemed knowledgeable of whales and area. It is a little more expensive than the other tour operators in terms of cost and hours but I liked the fact that the Zodiac moves fast to get... More

What a great day of whale watching! Where do I begin! We were given very comfortable full body suits, that kept us warm and dry on the water. (We got splashed a little) It can get a bit chilly on the water, even on hot days. With the suits they give you you can just wear your summer clothing, you... More

We have taken another boat trip to view whales from St Andrews but it was pale in comparison to the Zodiac experience. Our grandkids 10 and 12 had a blast. Captain Greg went to great effort to make sure we had a great experience even though he had been on the water all day. We had many whale sightings as... More

Had a Great time from reception to departure. We were lucky enough to see minke and finback whales. Unfortunately for us it did rain quite a bit but that did not stop our fun. The Captain was so GREAT. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed every second of the trip and will be back next year for another ride on... More

I was glad that we booked early for a long-weekend 1pm boat trip because it looks like trips ended up being completely sold out. The shop was organized and the customer service was very friendly. Captain Dave was a fun, knowledgeable guide. We went to a place where a large finback had been sighted earlier. We caught fleeting glimpses of... More

I booked 3 spots on the whale watching tour two months ahead of our trip. We got there 20 minutes before the departure and they had already sold one of our seats. - My first mistake: not to take "Please arrive 45 minutes prior to the departure time to check in and register." seriously. - My second mistake: not to... Went out for a much anticipated 6'oclock trip and let me start off by saying the whole experience from the over-the- phone reservation to the service we had upon arrival to the Capitan , was flawless! We were greeted in the lobby by the nicest receptionist possible and introduced to Nadine and Michelle the other two women (so nice, we... More

This whale watching tour is a MUST when visiting Saint Andrews. Not only were the whale and wildlife sightings great, but our captain Dave was hilarious. He's an amazing tour guide with a vast knowledge of the local sea life and he really made this a tour one to remember and worthy of a 5-star review. Whale or no whale... More
