We had a great day on the water with Dave and managed to track two whales. If you're going to whale watch, the experience is so much better in a Zodiac. Fundy Tide Runners were organized, accommodating and a lot of fun. If you can sit near Dave you'll also enjoy the banter between him and his fellow skippers out... More

Fundy Tide Runners runs a good service to view whales and some other sea life in the area. Our skipper, Greg was superb. The boat ride out in the bay was superb and a great way to spend a warm summer afternoon. The ride out to the lighthouse was great. The local sea life info was good as well. I... More

After going on a whale watching trip in Chediac with no luck seeing whales, we ventured to St. Andrews and decided that if the Fundy Tide Runners was good enough for Rick Mercer, they were good enough for our group. Our kids were treated golden... warm wind breakers in their sizes and front row seats! The Captain (Greg I believe)... More

Four Aussies driving up from Boston and two Maritimers meeting them in Saint Andrews trying to coordinate our whale watching after the unprecedented forecast of a hurricane on Saturday completely walloped our schedule - could have been a real mess. Everything worked out perfectly because the folks at Fundy Tide are just the greatest!! They accommodated us with a tour... More

It's the chance you take in whale watching, but on our tour we did not see a whale, but we saw seals, porpoises and bald eagles and of course the New Brunswick and Maine coastline. The boat ride itself is fun and the captain was funny and informative.

Try as we did, we were unable to see any whales. Porpoises, seals and lobster fishermen, yes, but no whales. The ride was fun and they explain the safety aspects. The full length survival suits kept us warm and dry. The captain was friendly and informative. The reception room was neat. They are linked in with other locals who gave... More

Thank you for your comments. Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We always strive to deliver the best whale watch experience that we can but there is always one variable.....finding wildlife. Whales are wild animals and cannot be located sometimes due to many factors, tide conditions, weather conditions as well as seasonal constraints to name a... More

I took a trip with Fundy Tide Runners and had a great day. We saw a Minke whale, seals, porposes and various sea birds. As well, Captain Dave gave us lots of local knowledge about the various islands and buildings we saw. He was very friendly and the ride was smooth and easy. We put on these survival suits before... Sandra and David are an awesome team at this whale watch Company. They offered very personalized service was very concerned about the safety of all guests and did their utmost and making sure the experience was superlative. I would recommend always to whale watch with the zodiac boats as it offers a closer observation of the whales on a 12... More

Our family went out in early June (the start of the season). This was the highlight of our trip! we enjoyed the fun ride on the zodiac as well as animal sightings! Many seals, porpoises, several species of birds! Although no whales came out that day, this trip was well worth it, as our captain shared much knowledge, and the... More

This was the best whale watching experience I've ever had - and I've been whale watching with out-of-town guests many, many times. Riding the the Zodiac puts you right at the ocean level. We were lucky enough to see 3 Minke whales today, plus other assorted wild life including seals, porpoises, eagles - but the boat ride alone was worth... More
