What a wonderful experience! We had beautiful weather and saw a lot of amazing, beautiful animals up close! The boat ride was exciting being it was a small boat and were right on the water. Our tour guide Dave put everyone at ease, was very knowledgeable about the marine life and the area in general. Made for a fun filled... More

What a great experience. We showed up in St.Andrews in the fog...... our original trip was cancelled due to a storm on the bay. Bummed out David offered great suggestions of what to do with the kids in the rain, and where to grab a bite to eat. Unfortunately we were on a time schedule and pushed on to see... More

This past summer I had the opportunity to join with a group for some whale watching in New Brunswick. I went with a very close friend, who was terrified of whales. I'm scared of falling off of boats. This was a great idea. I was a little nervous seeing as we were going in a little inflatable boat that only... More

What a great experience. The owner/tour guide, David, was really knowledgeable without being show-offish. We saw lots of whales and dolphins. Only downside; no bathrooms within about a block, and after a cold, watery boat ride, that walk to the public potty (very clean) was a long one.

The day we went out it was a beautiful sunny day with a little bit of wind Dave took us for a ripping trip across the bay where we found 3 or 4 different whales. Simply amazing lots of porpoises and seals and eagles. can't wait to go back!!!

David and Sandra Welch run a fantastic operation in Saint Andrews. We experienced our first whale watching tour with them this summer. Our family came away with terrific sightings of Finback, Minke, porpoises, and seals. More so, we came away with a terrific family adventure experience. Belting across the bay, seeing the mirages, Dave's humour, and Sandra hospitable and warm... More

We went out on the Fundy Tide Runners trip today, September 25, 2013 and it was great. From the beginning when they give you the wonderful warm suits to wear, to the end when they give you a warm cup of hot chocolate, everything is wonderful. The suits keep you very warm. The boat gets you out to the location... More

I took a trip out with Fundy tide runners whilst in St Andrews on a trip with several other travel agents and we had a fantastic time spotting Whales. We were fortunate enough to see Finback and Minke whales, the finback whales were awe inspiring as they are so huge and when one popped up next to the boat we... More

Excellent guide. Lots of information. We were able to find whales, even in fairly dense fog! The boat is low and open, but quite stable.

First time travelling to the east coast of Canada. Started our trip in St. Andrews, New Brunswick. We were lured to the Fundy Tide Runners Whale Watch tour since Rick Mercer did this tour in 2011. The tour did not disappoint! Fabulous, funny and fast boat!!! Fabulous sightings, funny tour guide and fast boat to chase the whale sightings! On... More
