I've been on 3 different whale watching tours out of St. Andrews, and this was the most fun. You ride in a zodiac (wearing a floatiing orange suit!), which is an adventure in itself, as it gets you from the wharf to the whale watching sites speedily; seeing whales isn't guaranteed on these trips, but the zodiac enables the group... We had a wonderful time and would definitely use them again. We have watched in Tadoussac, Victoria BC, Gloucester MA and Cape Cod. This was only second to Tadoussac.

Thank you for your kind words. We have been in the business of whale watching for 18 seasons and we appreciate your feedback. The Bay of Fundy is a wonderful place to go whale watching and we are glad you chose Fundy Tide Runners. More

Great time whale watching with Fundy Tide Runners, definitely worth every penny. Dave and his wife were extremely friendly, enjoyable and knowledgeable. Being in a zodiac was fantastic and added to the fun and excitement of the trip. A major reason for our trip out east was to see the whales, and this ride definitely did not disappoint! We saw... My first trip to the Maritimes had to include some whale watching, and I had a great experience with Fundy Tide Runners. Dave (captain) is a funny character and is an enjoyable and knowledgeable guide. We saw many interesting sights - porpoises, seals, bald eagles, lighthouses, and of course a minke whale. It was a really fun time and it's... More

I've done lots of whale watching trips from Alaska to Hawaii, first time in a zodiac boat, great way to see whales, we saw lots of finbacks and a few porpoise. The ride in a zodiac isn't for the "faint of heart", we were in the bow of the boat and took a beating with the waves etc., it was... More

Fundy Tide Runners delivers exactly what their web site advertise!. We observed many (4-6) Fin Whales near our boat for over 55 minutes and some seals on the trip back to the dock. The boat ride was stable, fast and fun, however the cataraman vessel also operating out of St Andrews is only slightly slower. It appears that all the... More

This year was our third time with the Fundy Tide Runners and we were not dissappointed!!! We did not see as much this year due to a huge fog but we were still able to follow a pod of Finback whales, "play" hide and seek with a seal and stop long enough by a rocky island to examine a colony... More

David Welch kept us entertained with his facts and fun throughout the trip.We enjoyed seeing five finback whales that have been visiting recently. Lots of seals and birds. David provided an adventure that I will remember. David explained to us about listening for whale breaches and made it fun for my fellow adventurers to call out the locations of the... More

I've been on this tour 4 times, and I'll be back for 5, 6, 7... ! The boat ride alone is a fun time. If you want one of these "cash back if no whale sightings" tours- go to SeaWorld. Be sure visit the washroom first- none on-site.

This was the highlight of our family's trip to Eastern Canada. Both of our son's had already done whale watching at Bamfield on Vancouver Island, but both said this was way more fun. Unfortunately we did not see any whales, but none the less, we had a lot of fun speeding around in the Zodiac boat. One reason we booked... More
