Excellent half day activity. Very friendly and knowledgeable guides. Kurt, the owner, is a great guide and good conversationalist. The staff in general is great. Strongly recommended.

I convinced my girls, ages 16 and 12 that a bike tour in kilts would be "fun" and signed us up for the tour. They were not so sure, however, they agree that this was one of their highlights from our trip to the Atlantic provinces! Kurt is a great guide. He was able to set up a tour that... More

We took an off Kilter cycling tour of St Andrews last week with a group of other travel agents from the UK and Germany and had a great time. Many of our group had not been cycling for many years and I have to say this was not a proplem as they catered to everyones cycling ability. The guides were... More

On arrival we got kitted out in our kilts and sized up for our bikes, luckily Kurt was very patient! We went for the easy option and thoroughly enjoyed it,lots of stops along the way to keep us informed. We can all highly recommend!!

We weren't expecting a whole lot....just a bike tour around the town of St-Andrews. But Kurt really gave us a great tour which includes a bit of touring around the town, the seaside, the deep woods, and all that while giving us information about our surroundings and its history. Really recommend this tour as a part of your St-Andrews adventure,... More

This was my first time visiting St. Andrews and I am SO glad that I found about the bike tour before I went. It was a great way to see the sights and learn some interesting facts/ history. Kurt was a very accommodating, knowledgeable and gracious host. I brought my 10 year old son with me and Kurt did a... More

If you can ride a two-wheeler, then you can't miss this. Even if you don't have a bike, Off Kilter has a fleet of well-maintained bikes to choose from. And there simply isn't a better way to experience the charm of New Brunswick. But what made the tour so good was our guide and gracious host Kurt Gumushel. An accomplished... More

The tour was one of the highlights of our vacation to Eastern Canada. Kurt adjusted the tour based on our biking skill levels and ensured we saw sites that we had not already experienced. Kurt also provided interesting facts about the town and showed us how to dig for clams. Overall we loved the tour and recommend it to anyone... More

St Andrews is known more for golf than mountain biking, but if you have ever toured the New Brunswick woods on a bike you might wonder why. Local heart-throb Kurt Gumushel takes all levels of cyclists on tours of the town and surrounding nature. He took us on a plaid-protected ride across the ocean floor (at low tide) to Minister's... While our trip was after the mountain bike season "officially" ended, Kurt rented us bicycles to use during our vacation. While rains did cut short our riding, the trail that he recommended was fun and would have been a great ride at a different time of year. The bikes provided were Cannondale and on very good condition. Of course he... More
