This tour is excellent from the moment you meet the tour organizer to the cruise team to the homeward bound refreshments and sea biology session. Just awesome! Capt. Dan and marine biologists Caelin and Hannah made the cruise very enjoyable and an informative learning experience. Apparently we had a very good day of multiple fin and minke whales, porpoises, terns,... More

We took the tour on Aug 18th 2015 and we were very pleasantly surprised with the the level of service that we got. The boat was very nice and the staff was very informative and friendly. Captain Dan was a great guy and was more than eager to answer and and all questions that we had (even some that didn't... More

This was a good tour for our family of 4 during our trip back to home to Ontario from PEI but we did have one negative experience with Island Quest (at the bottom of the review) We selected Island Quest because of our research on TripAdvisor. We were there on Aug 18 at the 1:30 timeslot. The boat ride is... More

We took the afternoon. 1:30 whale watching cruise. They often offer 3 cruises a day, in season. Plan ahead and definitely make a reservation. The staff both in the office and on the boat were all very nice. The boat's captain did his very best to find whales and indeed we saw 2 Minke's and followed them for sometime. Good... More

We had an awesome time here. We were lucky enough to see fin whales, porpoise, seal. We enjoyed the extra and in depth information and sea creature tank our guides had to offer. A highlight of our east coast trip.

We recently returned from a great week in New Brunswick. One of the highlights was the whale watching with Island Quest. The staff were all extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about marine life and getting us on the tour best suited to our busy schedule. While on our boat, we saw whales, dolphins, seals and bald eagles. The captain, Robbie... More

We arrived in the rain and deep fog for our adventure. They told us to have breakfast and come back in about hour. The captain would make a decision before that time. We watched as the fog lessened and the clouds lifted. It was going to be a nice day! After we were briefed we walked with the group to... More

It was no body's fault that it was really foggy this morning, and it didn't really get any better as the day went on. Despite of this, we did see harbour porpoises and seals, and one Minkie whale. The whale didn't stay long, and these whales don't dive the way humpbacks do to show off their tail fins! Although u... More
