I spent a beautiful day out watching whales play and show off for my daughter and I. The ride out to where the whales are had lots to look at and take pictues of and the Captain always had information about all the places and wildlife as he grew up in the area all his life. We spent hours watching... More

The first time I went whale watching, it was quite breathtaking. More than I had imagined it would be. I would love to bring my kids back and experience it again. The whole crew was fantastic.....friendly and knowledgeable. Our family doesn't often get the opportunity to get in family vacations so this really made our trip extra special. Thank you... More

My mother and I had been wanting to go whale watching for a long time but with our Fibromyalgia we put it off and weren't sure how tired we be from the day trip. Well we are so glad we chose Island Quest to go with. No problems, no troubles, so simple, just show up and let them know you... More

Such friendly folks! Comfortable boat and whales! There is not a moment wasted, we not only saw whales and a seal we learned about salmon fishing and farming. Thank you for a wonderful trip.

my husband and I visited Saint Andrews in September, 2014 for our anniversary, and I chose Island Quest for our whale watching experience solely due to Trip Advisor. I wasn't disappointed. The Captain made sure that we got out far enough to see the humpback whales and their tails. The trip was perfect--informative, fun, and memorable. Nicole, a marine biologist... More

On my "bucket list" was a whale watching tour, so I reserved a spot with Island Quest. Everyone from the lady on the phone/in the store, to the captain, to the cruise director was friendly and eager to please. In addition to seeing Harbour Porpoises and a Minke whale, we saw bald eagles, herring weirs, a seal and wonderful scenery.... More

This was our first-ever visit to St Andrew's, although we have driven past the exit many times on our way to Nova Scotia. This trip, we decided to make the detour and try a whale-watching trip from here. We chose Island Quest Marine's "Cruisin' with the Whales" , as the options available seemed to be either a Zodiac excursion (uh,... More

Do not leave St Andrews without doing this. The captain is from a fishing family and his daughter is a marine biologist and they are a fountain of information about everything from the whales to the fishing weirs. We loved it. It is worth it just to see the huge 40 foot tide shift while you are out there. Dress... More
