We took the later afternoon trip (bring extra layers) and had a great time. We didn't see any whales (they had on the morning trip) but the crew and scenery made up for that. The crew pointed out interesting spots along the way and were knowledgeable about them. The crew mates were also knowledgeable about marine life (giving a few... More

We decided to go whale watching based on Trip Advisor Reviews. I must say , at this time the Whales were quite shy and did not really show up. We saw some dolphins but just their fins. It was not really memorable as I expected , and to be brutally honest it is quite overrated. I do recommend this to... More

Thank you for joining us on the Tall Ship Jolly Breeze. We are glad that you were able to see the whales many times on your trip and that it was a beautiful day on the water! I am afraid that is beyond our control how close the whales come up to the vessel. There are laws about how close... More

My family and I took the kids ( 8 & 5) on the 9:00 am sail to see the whales. It was simply a great adventure for all. From the lady that met us at the office the night before and took time to speak to us though it was probably closing time, to the fantastic crew the day of... More

This place was amazing they had a touch tank for the kids. They had a biologist on board if you ever need to know anything about anmails. This boat has face painting for the kids. It even has pirate costume if the kids wantend to dress up. Over all this place is one of the best whale watching place I... More

We had the opportunity to go for a cruise on the Jolly Breeze after a Leadership retreat. They created a perfect environment for us to continue the team-building in a relaxed, safe, awe-inspiring environment. The trip was right on the heels of Hurricane Arthur and it was compelling to listen to the Captain of the ship describe his experience. I... More

I was thrilled that the weather cooperated for our 9 a.m. tour. It was foggy at first, but the fog lifted later on. It was also cold on the water even though we had worn our warmest clothes. Thankfully, the crew provided us with rain coats and blankets, which kept everyone warm until the sun came out. The crew was... More

This was our 4th year at St.Andrews in the past 7 years. Its a vacation for those that want to breath better and relax. The air and breeze especially on the Jolly Breeze Tall Ship are like none other. The soup is delicious, or take a morning tour and enjoy bagels and fruit. The crew are very friendly and we... More

Let's start by saying this was early in the season, and it is not uncommon to have no whale sightings. Unfortunately we saw none, but before we were even at the docks, the captain informed us that we were invited to stop by the office and get a ticket for a free next trip. There was no haggling, we were... More

This was my first time whale watching and it was perfect. The ship was clean and beautiful. We did depart a little later than scheduled but It didn't bother me at all. The crew were very kind and helpful with everyone on board, including the kids. You can get alcohol on the ship which is obviously a big bonus. We... More

We enjoyed a great day on the bay. I tend to get seasick, but the Jolly Breeze was smooth sailing. We saw seals, an eagle, and a minke whsle. The crew was fun too.

Thank you for joining us on the Tall Ship Jolly Breeze. Glad that you had a great experience and did not feel seasick. The Jolly Breeze is a 50 Tonne ship that sits deep in the water and does not bob on the surface. The whales tend to feed close to the islands so you can always see land and... More
