Tudhope Park is an excellent park for the family. The beach isn't the biggest but it is wonderful none the less. There are change rooms and a water pad. The kids can play on the equipment as well. There is a chip/hot dog wagon and ice cream. You can bring your own barbeque. Of course, Mariposa Folk Festival is here... More

I personally haven't swam here, but during the warm months, lots of people seen frolicking there...and within eyesight is a great park for the kids (waterpark?). There are lots of green spaces to enjoy a picnic...or play a soccer game. Trails are all around, and surely the fisherman will find a lucky spot!

Tudhope was one of the first places that my husband and I visited after moving to the area. This is a fun, versatile park and would be especially great for a family with young kids. Definitely one of the nicer parts of the city!

We've visited Orillia a couple of times this summer and we love this park/beach/splash pad. There are lifeguards on duty with a nice beach and water to play in. The water doesn't get too deep so it's nice to visit with kids. The beach is right next to the splash pad which has some nice variety for the kids. Always... More

This place is mellow, serene, picturesque park. It is: multi-use slow pace with softball fields, but the main attraction is the walking path and beautiful views. There are still too many geese and their dropping should be watched for. People keep their dogs leashed and are well mannered here. Absolutely safe. Even interesting wildlife with ground hogs, occasional fox, and... More

Trail runs right through park, great beach, great ball park with good tournaments, very special playground, and snack bars with washrooms. Great restaurant on site. Fun place.

I live in Orillia and visit this park frequently. There is a nice beach in the front, with play areas for children. There is a paved bike/walking/jogging trail through the park, and it is surrounded on 3 sides by the lake. Park benches and picnic tables are scattered throughout the park. It is a very picturesque and clean park, a... More

If you like biking then the Orillia Lightfoot trail is the best. It runs through Tudhope park to the narrows where Lake Simcoe meets lake Couchiching and in the other direction you can go 25kg to Coldwater and beyond!

This lovely, peaceful park is ideal for an evening stroll in summer. By the shore of the lovely lake, there are plenty of seats and benches. Very well kept with nice trees and shrubs. Worth a visit.
