Great Park in Orillia on the shores of Lake Couchiching. The BAy winds in and out and the park follows all these twists. The LIghtfoot walking/biking trail also passes through the park. In summer the beach is very popular

This Park has it all!!! Beach, SplashPad, Volleyball courts, bike/rollerblade trail, baseball diamonds, free parking and easy access. The water is shallow and the sand clean. A great place for a picnic or get an ice cream cone. Orillians love this park and use it year round. Come check it out and don't forget the picnic and the bikes. Trails... More

Great place to meet friends for a walk along the millennium trail. There is a great loop that gives you a very nice view of Lake Couchiching. Great place to stop and have a picnic as well.

Such a gem for Orillia and surrounding area. Free and accessible to all. Great, new, water park by the beach area, trail meanders through the park on it's way to Orillia or Rama. Amazing views all around of Lake Simcoe. Ball park, open area park, lots of benches, great for picture taking, bird life and squirrels. Concession booths open in... More

I was here for the unveiling of the monument to Gordon Lightfoot of Orillia The park was beautiful on a clear sunny day and the location of the monument on a point in the park, in sight of Orillia was spectacular. Gordon Lightfoot seemed genuinely pleased to see this beautiful sculpture which depicts 14 of his most famous songs. Dignitaries... More

Ah, I love this park! I have travelled the world and been to many beautiful parks, but I always return to my home town, longing for a nice walk and picnic in one of Orillia's many beautiful parks and lakefronts. Orillia is spoiled for choice. Favourite place to go for a walk, and read a book and have a picnic... More
