We saw Derek Marshall and a 7 piece band at the Orillia Opera House. Derek sang songs made famous by crooners (the Vegas Knights) from the 50s, 60s and 70s. He was terrific and so were all of the musicians. Very good venue, entertainment and value.

My wife and I attended this show on Aug 16 and were pleasantly surprised to find it was being done in the studio theatre. This made for a more intimate show with only 5 rows of seating. Very well done and worth every penny!!

Duck Soup Productions performed CATS. MY 8 yr old granddaughter and I loved it! It was fun and entertaining and well priced. The actors were excellent and we especially liked them coming into the audience. It was superb and we look forward to their next production.

We have enjoyed many theatre productions in the smaller studio theatre (seats about 100) and a musical in the larger upstairs theatre. We always book tickets in advance online. Parking is available adjacent to the theatre for a reasonable fee (about $4 for an afternoon). Staff are friendly and helpful. There are lots of restaurants nearby including the Mariposa Market... The old theatre has seen many first rate entertainers. The parking is beside the building. The seats are all good. Dining is close by for pre-theatre. It is wheel-chair accessible. Book early if possible for best seats.

My wife and I, along with another couple, were fortunate to watch Forever Plaid, a musical review in the smaller of the two theatres. A delightful experience in a vintage building that is comfortable with a good sound system in attractive surroundings. Easy parking close by.

Nothing special inside but we liked some of the shows over the years. Not too many places like this in the area.
