We spent half a day at the thousand islands, with my friend's family, on the way back from Montreal.... We took the one hour cruise and loved it... Will try a longer cruise next time.

We took the 1000 islands cruise and it was well worth it. The views were wonderful dotted with many islands with their quaint houses and stories. There was even a small castle. The boat we took had a running commentary and a lower deck where you can enjoy a beer. The ride was over an hour long and pretty fun.... More

Fantastic boat tour of the Islands. Amazing history. Some of the houses were breathtaking. The scenery is breathtaking.

It is a relaxing boat cruise, you do see many small islands, but nothing special or exciting really. I don't think it is worth making a trip, but it is fine if it happens to be on your way and you have some time to spare.

Went there on our way from Ottawa to Toronto. Took a boat ride of the islands. There is really nothing exciting about the thousand islands. Went there on a recommendation of a friend of a friend, who is a Canadian. I guess, for a Canadian, it is awesome, but for us, it was just a waste of time and money.

My wife and I recently took Gananoque Boat Line's 5-hour cruise to Boldt Castle. Well worth the price. It was our first visit to Gananoque. A beautiful little town with a wonderful waterfront. Lots of restaurants and shops just up a couple of blocks. Highly recommend.

Fantastic! Very sunny day, a boat trip around an amazing part of the St Lawrence River with, actually, more than 1800 islands and some cool houses. There's a bar close to where the boat leaves from and a bar with food and drinks on board. Very interesting to learn the history of Boldt Castle: a shrine built to and by... More

Went unto a boat tour and had early diner along the river.... It was amazing to see the different islands in various sizes and attractions, from dream homes to castles. Great way to experience the islands.

A great place to visit. Took the boat cruise from Rockport (1 hour cruise) and it took us up to Boldt Castle and turn back. The most interesting site was the US-Canada border in between a small bridge joining two small island. Boldt Castle adds some beauty to the location too. Must visit place if you are in or visiting... We went onto the boat tours. The islands were very beautiful and come in very varied sizes. The tour lasted for about one hour. There were many magnificent mansions on the islands. It was worth it. It's not as good if you don't go on the boat tour and just view from the shore. The houses and mansions are better... More
