Located in the beautiful Eastern Townships, the Cep d'Argent vineyard offers quality wines and numerous memorable touristic tours. Enjoy the exceptional view on the Magog River and on the vines' field where the hard work from the Scieur brothers paid off magnificently. Le Cep d'Argent, lovechild of two passionate French wine growers, is the oldest vineyard in the Estrie region.

With only a little time on our hands, we visited this winery late in the day. They still made us feel welcome and provided excellent insight into the wine growing region and the quality of wines they produce. Our only regret is that these wines are not avaialble in Alberta.

We visited this vineyard while spending the weekend in Magog. I was quite frankly looking forward to seeing this vineyard (as it is one of the biggest in Quebec). On arrival it wasn't very welcoming. Felt too comercial to me. The pictures on the brocure did not look like this place. The balcony was tired and no seating was available... More

I had a poor experience, I had called a week in advance to find out about tours and was told noon but was not told that there was an English tour at 10am even though I asked to speak to someone in English. So we missed that, then called again to find out if you could do tastings without a... More

We had a wonderful visit and tour. We called ahead to be sure to take a tour in English. When we arrived and identified ourselves we were welcomed. We toured the vineyard and learn about growing grapes and pressing them into wine. We went inside and we saw the fermenting tanks, aging barrels, and learned about white, rose, red, ice... More

We researched this place in advance and visited en route to the Saguenay. The tour and tasting were both terrific. Best of all, we purchased a mixed case (red, white and rose), part of which we enjoyed during our travels. We shared a bottle of the winery's award winning white with our fly fishing guide, who usually only buys wine... More

Went with a day tour from Montreal. This was our first stop. Had never been to a vineyard before. Staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Interesting experience. The history of this vineyard and methods used to grow and then produce their wines was interesting. Tasted 5 of their wines.Nice experience.

I had the most amazing time at this vineyard, I stumbled upon this venue on a road trip with some friends. The wine was delicious, and the staff was quite knowledgeable in both English and French. We had a personalized museum tour, and even got to try the Vendanges tardives which is well worth the price. All the wine is... More

How often can you go somewhere and drink alcohol for free? Ok now, how often is that somewhere a business that offers to have you taste 4 or 5 different wines? The personal touch of the wine maker explaining in what order to drink it in, what temperature, and with what food simply was awesome!! Thank you!! P.S. Every time... More
