Our olive groves covers 36 hectares (about 90 acres) on the sun-drenched footslopes of Les Alpilles. We like to press our olives without delay, to retain all of their fruitiness and freshness.Fresh and fruity, our oil wonderfully embodies the exceptional character of the Vallée des Baux de Provence terroir.Every day you can visit our mill and taste our different blends of our award winning Olive Oils.

Before we travelled to Provence, we had been told that we could find the best olive oil in Les Baux de Provence area so we did quite some research and found CastelaS. And CastelaS did surprise us with their olive oil refreshing and could truly raise the freshness of vegetables! I add it in my salad everyday now! Staff are... More

If you go to Provence and are anywhere near Les Baux de Provence, you should stop by CastelaS. We had a lovely short tour and explanation of the extraction process by Remy, who was charming and witty. He explained the olive trees and the entire process. Then he took us to the tasting room where we tasted about 10 different... More

Thank you very for your factual comment that summarize well, I think, all we are trying to achieve here. All the Olive Oils you have tasted are produced here, in the mill you have visited by the trees you have seen! Hope to see you again soon here...or on the internet shop. More

We booked our group of ten to visit this olive oil producer while visiting Provence. The visit was well worth the trip as part of our week. Remy was charming, engaging, and spoke excellent English .The tasting was wonderfully organized and all of us left with a better appreciation and knowledge of the process of making olive oil. The oils we... More

Our group of 10 booked ahead and enjoyed a wonderful experience here. We had a great olive oil tasting, and learned a lot about olives and the process of making olive oil. Remy was a great teacher, full of knowledge, experience, patience and humour. An absolute must if you want to fully enjoy the Provence experience.

They do make a very nice olive oil. But the infused oils are a bit overpowering. Clerk was not very friendly and a bit stand offish. Not one to put on the top of your list b

I am sorry your experience at CastelaS was not up to your expectations. In regards to your comments about the "Clerk" staying off, I have made an inquiry to propose a corrective action to that team member: Some Customers like to be entertained, some prefer to be left alone and ask when they need help. I have instructed the sales... More

We visited and wanted to do a tasting and learn more about the groves, olives, and production. We were able to do a tasting and bought several products. But the woman who was staffing the shop at that time did not speak any English. So we were in and out of there in just a few minutes after tasting and... More

Great Olive Oil with a large selection of different varieties. There is a nice shop where you can buy the stuff, open every day. For me, the best olive oil in the region. Not very cheap though.

We stumbled into Castelas by chance. We were given the opportunity to taste their magnificent olive oils and were then led on an amazing, informative and fascinating tour of this facility. Their operation is first class and, through great pains, meets and exceeds the very stringent requirements set forth by the European Community. We bought some of their olive oil... More

Thank you very much for writing such a nice comment about us. I like your comment about Olive Oil in France! it is true that France is not known for it, although it was a big producing country a century ago. On our tour of the area CastelaS was one of our scheduled stops. The Hugues born in the region, emigrated to America and lived in Arizona for 15 years before going back home and building their business. Ms Hugue was a delight, very friendly and informative about growing and processing olives for their business. They have a super clean facility... More
