Getting there was rather easy, leaving was hard. Everything I experience to your I will remember the sheer beauty of the cave surroundings was incredible. Totally worth the price of admission and time and effort to get there. The tour guides are awesome and explain everything about the caves in detail and with great knowledge. This is a great tour... There is a tram that takes you down to the mouth of the cave. The main cave has a ceiling of 140 feet. The walk is paved all the way inside the caves and a guide describes the main features. These caves were formed by the river which runs through it, over millions of years. There are many stalactites and... More

Really cool place and very good tour, had a lot of fun. Make sure to be there before 2pm as the wait can be long on nice days. The transit to the cave and tour itself is a good 1.5 hours. Totally worthwile.

We recently visited the Rio Camuy Cave park and were happy we went. We saw lots of reviews saying that the wait there is very long unless you arrive early, so we left San Juan at around 8:45 and got to the caves around 10 AM. When we arrived there were several school buses and only a few other people.... More

This is a beautiful place to take the family. My 5 years old son really enjoy this trip. Is a beautiful place to go and learn a lot. The only think here is the organization of the employes. They do the better they can but need more resources. Overall is a beautiful place and we enjoy it a lot. Admission... More

After reading some negative review, we weren't sure if this was worth it..it was! We drove from Fajardo, and didn't get there until 1:00 p.m. When we arrived, we were a little worried because several school buses were there. We were NOT impressed with the restrooms, which had no toilet paper, and were dirty. (I had to laugh, though, that... More

To start of: this review is about the organizational issues, the process and the customer service issues with the park before you get into the caves. I would love to be able to review the caves however we never made it that far. We arrived on a Thursday morning around 10.30 am and when we pulled up to the parking... More

These caves and sink holes are fascinating to visit. An early morning arrival is best as the place fills up with school groups as the day goes on. You arrive and pay a couple of dollars for parking and are handed a slip with your waitlist numbers on it (similar to those at the deli counter). You park then pay... More

Las Cavernas del rio Camuy are an amazing natural beauty located between three towns/ municipalities in PR. You can see mother nature at it best. Beautiful rocks formations, underground river, bats and more. They have guided Spanish and English tours. Very caring and professional staff. Take a good camera with you so you can take gorgeous pictures.
