The caves are very good. Our guide was very knowledgeable. i have seen bad reviews about the guides but fortunately ours was good. the only downside was its 1.5 hrs drive from san juan. Also if you need to the Arecibo Observatory make sure you do the caves early because the observatory closes at 4 pm

This was my fourth visit to the caves. But this visit was, VERY DISAPPOINTED. Lets start with the bathrooms. After almost two hours drive from San Juan, you may need to stop at the restrooms. Caution: no paper , no hand soap and not in a good clean condition. Half of the toilets and urinals were out of order. So... More

Awesome place to visit but staff was quite boring on the tour..maybe due to the weather..it was raining and a storm was coming in..while on the transport going down the cave, there was no audio or speaking from the guide as we were descending down to the cave..the driver just pointed as we passed at some points..we did this tour... It was nice to give our burns a break in the cool caves of Camuy. The park is well developed and the guide easily moved from English to Spanish and back throughout the tour.

The cave itself was amazing, but the tour guide we had was terrible and made our experience less than fun. Granted most of Puerto Rico is Spanish speaking, there were quite a few Americans on tour who only understand English. It would have been great if a self-guided tour with a headset was an option. Also, the gift shop was... More

Our family of 4 went to the cave last Wednesday. I had done some research and knew we should arrive by 10am at the latest but we didn’t get away as early as we wanted to and ended up arriving at 11:00. Our number was 100+ from what was currently entering the caves. It was a fairly long wait, luckily... More

I arrived around 9:30AM on a Wednesday and tried calling numerous times to see if they were open but nobody answered. I ended up driving there either way and was able to purchase tickets. If you dont know the cave is ONLY open from WED - SUN 8:30 - 5:00 PM When we arrived there was plenty of parking and... More

The cave itself is pretty cool. Although the time spent in it is too short, especially compared to the wait to get into the cave. We waited about an hour on a weekday afternoon. Couple of fun things too, we got stuck in the movie theater that you go into before the cave because we had to wait out a... More
