My husband love reptiles and very enthusiastic about these creatures.... That's the only reason why I went to see this place.... The building it's self is neglected structurally. The staff are friendly. You could even hold boa constrictor upon request and take pictures with it (it's not my thing). But in fairness.... they have a wide variety of reptiles and... More

Everything was closed on Monday in the town so we decided to spend the day at Reptile World. Well that plan was scrapped as they are currently under construction and not opened. None of this information was on their website and if it wasn't so close to where we were staying, I would stay it would be a waste of... More

We always visit Reptile world when get to Drumheller. My kids love seeing all the snakes, lizards, etc. The have a great variety and the price is pretty affordable for a family of four. It is fairly outdated and really needs new flooring, paint, etc but in general is a great visit

this was really excellent! We got to see all sorts of snakes, lizards, alligators, turtles! I didn't even know a lot of these reptiles existed! Everybody in the family totally loved it!

While they do have a large variety of reptiles I was saddened by the conditions that the bigger reptiles (tortoises, alligator and crocodile) were kept in. I didn't expect zoo quality, but the poor crocodile and alligator are in little, dirty looking pools in bare rooms. The whole place had a run down, dingy feel about it.

Upon arriving, the building and interior look a little worse for wear. However, if you can get past that, there are a number of snakes, lizards, frogs, alligators, and more to see. Lots to look at and read about. Not very interactive though, unless you are really lucky, then they will allow you to handle their beloved boa named Brittany.... More

I was absolutely disappointed. My first time there and I left angry. This place is a huge health violation, violates fire code, & the reptiles are not properly taken care of. We saw black mold in the dishes of some, and the water for the crocs and titles were filthy. The windows to see were extremely dirty, poor ventilation for... More

If your interest is in reptiles this a place to go. Expect it to smell a little inside which is normal in a reptile environment. They have snakes, lizards, crocodiles, frogs, and turtles you would never expect to see. One of the turtles on display is very similar to the prehistoric turtle. I was amazed at the different species of... More

What an amazing place to learn about so many reptiles from around the world. Affordable, too. But the cages are so small, the facility needs a paint job and cleaning up, and I can't help wonder if the reptiles have any kind of quality in life with the dirty water in the large cages for crocodiles and alligators (not sure... Like others, I had some time to waste, and they were open for a bit. Price seemed reasonable so I poked my head in. There were a lot of animals, with good info provided. However, I felt the enclosures were dated, the building had a horrible odour, and I generally left a little 'creeped' out...
