My 4 year old thought the place was pretty neat but myself, I have a lot of experience with reptiles and I didn't find the animals very well kept. The place is absolutely freezing inside which can't be good for the reptiles. I sure hope the heat lamps are warm enough. I noticed the red foot tortoises shells have severe... More

A lot of vipers a full grown aigator and tortoises mAke for a great attraction. A lot of these animals are rescues and were seized at border. The staff does the best they can to clean cages, but glass is foggy sometimes. These are real dinosaurs or their cousins.

We went in the morning, and then back in the afternoon for reading time! So many neat lizards, crocodiles and snakes to check out!

If seeing powerful animals like crocodiles sitting in a concrete enclosure with an inch of filthy fece ridden water, with no natural sunlight is your idea of educational and entertaining time, then this is the place for you. The building itself is in shambles, foul odor, and dirty exhibits. While crocs may not be the highest of intelligence, they would... More

There was a really good range of species available and they seemed to be well cared for with clean habitats etc. The place did look a bit dingy and sad but they were in the midst of renovating so it may improve soon. They also have a focus on conservation- so may have other areas to spend their $ on.

Notwithstanding that I hate snakes, this is a very, very good attraction, with many kinds of snakes, and our group of four to eight year old children absolutely loved it! You wouldn't expect this kind of attraction out in the middle of nowhere in a very nondescript building, but well worth your time!

For being the largest reptile exhibit in Canada it wasn't exactly what I was expecting. It is kind of run down and the animals were in small exhibits. Lots of toads and snakes. There is a HUGE alligator you should check out! There is a snake you get to hold as well to take pictures with.

My husband love reptiles and very enthusiastic about these creatures.... That's the only reason why I went to see this place.... The building it's self is neglected structurally. The staff are friendly. You could even hold boa constrictor upon request and take pictures with it (it's not my thing). But in fairness.... they have a wide variety of reptiles and... More

Everything was closed on Monday in the town so we decided to spend the day at Reptile World. Well that plan was scrapped as they are currently under construction and not opened. None of this information was on their website and if it wasn't so close to where we were staying, I would stay it would be a waste of... More

We always visit Reptile world when get to Drumheller. My kids love seeing all the snakes, lizards, etc. The have a great variety and the price is pretty affordable for a family of four. It is fairly outdated and really needs new flooring, paint, etc but in general is a great visit
