Although my family enjoyed the activities and the life like animatronic dinosaur. The price you have to pay is rather high for what you get. The tyrell museum is not nearly as pricey and you can get way more bang for your buck.

This place is a complete rip off. You do not get what you pay for. $6.00 for each person admission for a "museum". Staff is not overly eager or enthusiastic which is disappointing for a place that relies on tourism. Our three and five year old did the fossil dig which we believed they would enjoy as they love digging... More

Thank your for writing a review. Even better we would have appreciated your saying something to us on site. Your experience is not typical and we disagree our centre is not worth a visit. In fact many customers state their kids have a better time here than at the Royal Tyrrell Museum. Each has its place. Most customers have a... More

Although it was expensive for a family of 5 (still under $100 for hours of interactive fun and learning) we took advantage of the mineral mining, where the kids got to mine for minerals and fill a vile with minerals to take home. We also did the fossil dig where they got to use a brush a bucket and a... More

Thankyou for taking the time to write a review. When you can take advantage of all the activities Fossil World is a real hit with the family. We like to say parents bring the kids in for the first visit and kids bring the parents back for subsequent visits. Our fossil and gift store is amazing, it is like a... More

Cannot fault this. We all loved it. (Ages 2 to 80) fossil dig, mineral search, climbing wall and a play section. Lots of information. A must see

Thank you for bringing the whole family and taking the time to write a review. Our goal is extraordinary family experience. When the kids are entertained, educated and have a blast the whole family has a great time. The fossils in our museum are there for the parents to enjoy while the kids play and learn through our creative play... More

Had a great time, the T-Rex is a must see. Want to have it in my yard. Great for the kids to experience, they get to dig for fossil bones and mine for precious stones. Staff is very knowledgable. Love the T-Rex

If you accept it for what it is, a children's museum, Fossil World is great fun for kids. When I read the earlier reviews of this museum, I regretted buying passes. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the other reviews were quite unfair. There are four main activity areas: a mineral pit which was very well stocked with minerals,... More

Thanks for taking the time to respond in such a clear and direct manner. This is the typical response we get from families with children 3-12 years of age. The typical person writing on Trip Advisor however is the disgruntled person leaving readers with an inaccurate understanding of the excellence and family fun available at Fossil World. More

The staff here is very knowledgable and you will see items in the museum that you won't see anywhere else. However, this museum is probably best suited for those that really know what they are looking at, and that can appreciate how rare some of their items are. The attached gift shop is fabulous.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We get a lot of people who appreciate the quality in our store and in our museum fossils, however rarely does anyone take the time to write about this on Trip Advisor. It is true our museum fossils are unique and quite rare. A fast walk through will not wow... More

25 dollars for a family when it should have been free. The only reason I gave this three stars was because my 2 year old nephew was deathly afraid of the animatronic t-Rex. Most of the fossils were fake and for a grown up it was pretty boring. Just go to the museum and don't waste hour time here.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. This reviewer factual statement that "most of our fossils are fake" is not accurate. More than 90% of our museum fossils and displays are real. We have incurred a great expense to provide valuable and real fossils in our museum. Yes our animatronic T.Rex is exceptional, thank you for appreciating... More

It's a SHOP mostly there to sell stuff and to ride on the coat tails of the Tyrrell Museum. Taking children there (our two grandkids 6 & 7) is looking for trouble because they want to buy the overpriced junk and you have to say no, which seldom turns out well.

Thank you for writing about Fossil World. Most people with kids 6 to 7 years of age have a great time at our facility and in our store. More money than the Royal Tyrell Museum with much less to see. Most the fossils were made of plastic! Every little thing cost extra on top of the $25 for a family of 5 ages 6 and under. The play gym is better at a McDonalds!!! and cheaper. The robotic dinosaur was the only cool thing. Dont waste your good... More

Whoa? Our fossils are not plastic nor fake. All natural history museums have some replicas. Did you know there are less than 50 real T.Rex skeletons in the world? We do have 5 real T.Rex vertebrae and yes our full T.Rex skeleton is a replica. Our percentage of real versus replica is much higher than found at most natural history... More
