We stopped in a few days ago as our final activity before heading home . What I thought would be a quick stop, ended up being a 3 hour visit. The kids didn't want to leave! For 24 dollars, our family (two adults and three kids ) had access to fossils, an indoor playground, the very life like amniotronic t-Rex,... More

This is a typical reaction once families give us a try. We offer great value and give the kids what they really want. Thanks for giving us a try. Kids often ask their parents to bring them back to Fossil World. It helps we have great toys and fossils at good prices so everyone leaves happy. 2015 has been a... More

My family had a great time. They have an indoor play place to keep the kids occupied while you look at all the great exhibits. We paid for the Fossil dig and my son had so much fun finding all the fossils, he could have filled 3 buckets. As well as uncovering a Dino skeleton which he then had to... More

Thank you for recognizing the hard work all our staff puts into their job and the service of our customers. We are a learning centre as well as a place to have fun and see the dinosaurs and fossils Drumheller is so well known for. Our souvenir and fossil store is the largest in Drumheller and our prices are exceptional,... More

This was a great way to spend a rainy afternoon in Drumheller. The robotic dinosaur is amazing. There was wall-climbing for the kids (for a cost). They had a free small indoor playground. Our grandchildren enjoyed participating in the archaeological dig. For a fee they got to look for fossils and dinosaur bones. There was a free colouring station as... More

Our robot T. Rex is outstanding, most people have never seen one of this quality. Sometimes he can be a little too realistic, but we like it that way. A customer vandalized one of our I-pads. It took two days to sort it out. It is working fine again. Our museum and activity center is great on sunny days as... More

We stopped here after visiting the Royal Tyrell and we had a great time. We had a coupon from the Fossil World shop in town for a free adult entry, which was great. Our kids did all the activities and had a great time. If you are an adult, probably not for you but it is a great destination for... More

Thanks for dropping by and writing a review. Your review is in line with the vast majority of people we serve. We are in our 8th year now and continue to grow each and every year. This year we are blowing the roof off our attendance and sales records, even with the economic challenges Alberta is facing this year. We... More

This simply isn't worth the money - the admission is reasonable but the extra expense for each short hands on activity adds up quickly. Each activity is quite short. The museum itself is quite small and my family moved through in no time. The robot is fairly impressive and the staff were more on the ball than some of the... More

Thanks for coming in and writing a review. Yes our robotic T.Rex is one of the best in the world and in a different league than many of the others you will encounter. Our staff is excellent and service oriented. We get many customers comments on this to my manager and me. We understand that our discovery centre is a... More

The youngsters love this place. We paid for all the activities. First rock 'mining' with a pan in water where they fill a vial. Then rock climbing was a big hit. Both kids hit the buzzer at the top and even went back for a second round. Note this attraction for climbing requires 40lbs+. Then the fossil dig was entertaining... More

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. The majority of our customers feel this way yet few take the time to write about it. Like your family many of our customers are returning customers. Yesterday we had one family that had been in three days in a row and they make it a point to come to Fossil... More

don't waste your time and go to Royal Tyrell Museum! young children might like the hands on activities like rock climbing, gem digging, digging for fossils, or a playground, but that's it. 50% of the exhibits are plastic, and they don't have too much information for a museum. The gift shop was probably the most enjoyable part of my visit,... More

Thanks for coming to our Museum. Our museum is principally a hands on activity centre for kids age 3-12. You failed to mention our star attraction that people of all ages marvel at, our animatronic T. Rex that is the best in Canada. I don't know where to begin with how disappointed I was with this place. 1) Price The price is $6 per person or $24 for a family, but that is just to get through the door! You have to pay extra if you want to do any of the three activities they offer--all of which are mediocre at best. 2)... More

My wife, two young boys (2&4) and I visited Fossil world after driving by it a few times. The building looks to have great potential for a good time with the kids. This is a place to go after you have visited the Royal Tyrrell Museum. It is really great for younger kids ( I say anyone 9 years old and below), the area is not too big, lots of hands-on activities to keep them occupied as they learn new things about the fossil world. This is probably not a place where... More

Thanks for coming in and writing a review. Your comments are very typical. We have a saying the parents bring the kids in the first time and the kids bring the parents back after that. Our philosophy is learning by creative play and extraordinary family experience. For many families our sweet spot is 3-12 year olds. A high percentage of... More
