Thank you for coming in and having a good time with the family, this is why we are here. We also have a fabulous gift store, the largest in Drumheller. We feature a wide variety of affordable real fossils for sale, some museum quality fossils as well, minerals from around the world, and an incredible selection of dinosaur toys all... More

Only went in here for the store, but got dragged into "museum" area. Didn't do any of the extra cost items, but kids enjoyed the T Rex animatronic. Not a must do, but if looking to kill time it's fine.

Our museum and activity centre is for families with kids 3-12. If you do not have those then some still enjoy our world's best animatronic T. Rex and our fine real fossil specimens. Over 95% of the fossils in our cabinets are real and many are world class specimens. If you want to see all large dinosaur bones we have... More

Discovery museum is a nice little break from the little travel companions. From panning for gold, to wall climb and the kids favorite the fossil dig and the interactive T-Rex that grunts and growls.

Families often use fossil World as a travel break. We have a play zone area where they can burn off some energy no matter what the weather. Our course being around roaring moving dinosaurs, fossil exhibits, digging for fossils and mining for minerals takes their mind off the long journey. Drumheller has long been a travel stop, today it offers... More

Worth every penny. The 6 & 9 yr olds dug for fossils, rope climbed, panned for minerals, played. After Tyrell museum (which is excellent) this museum was a little less scientist, more regular citizen & kid friendly. Displays were world class & well explained. The staff was engaged with the kids, called them by their given names. Good gift shop.... More

With kids are ages 3-12 Fossil World is a great experience for the whole family. Our creative play learning fossil dig and our excellent attentive staff can create a memorable time for the family. There is a little bit for everyone including our scary quality robotic T.Rex dinosaur, excellent fossils and attractively priced toys in the gift store. Thank you... More

This place was a great hands on experience for my kids! They were able to be interactive with the displays and having them dig for their own bones etc is well worth the extra money! We would go back in a heartbeat! I wish they had 2 day passes!!

We stopped in a few days ago as our final activity before heading home . What I thought would be a quick stop, ended up being a 3 hour visit. The kids didn't want to leave! For 24 dollars, our family (two adults and three kids ) had access to fossils, an indoor playground, the very life like amniotronic t-Rex,... More

This is a typical reaction once families give us a try. We offer great value and give the kids what they really want. Thanks for giving us a try. Kids often ask their parents to bring them back to Fossil World. It helps we have great toys and fossils at good prices so everyone leaves happy. 2015 has been a... More

My family had a great time. They have an indoor play place to keep the kids occupied while you look at all the great exhibits. We paid for the Fossil dig and my son had so much fun finding all the fossils, he could have filled 3 buckets. As well as uncovering a Dino skeleton which he then had to... More

This was a great way to spend a rainy afternoon in Drumheller. The robotic dinosaur is amazing. There was wall-climbing for the kids (for a cost). They had a free small indoor playground. Our grandchildren enjoyed participating in the archaeological dig. For a fee they got to look for fossils and dinosaur bones. There was a free colouring station as... More

Our robot T. Rex is outstanding, most people have never seen one of this quality. Sometimes he can be a little too realistic, but we like it that way. A customer vandalized one of our I-pads. It took two days to sort it out. It is working fine again. Our museum and activity center is great on sunny days as... More

We stopped here after visiting the Royal Tyrell and we had a great time. We had a coupon from the Fossil World shop in town for a free adult entry, which was great. Our kids did all the activities and had a great time. If you are an adult, probably not for you but it is a great destination for... More

Thanks for dropping by and writing a review. Your review is in line with the vast majority of people we serve. We are in our 8th year now and continue to grow each and every year. This simply isn't worth the money - the admission is reasonable but the extra expense for each short hands on activity adds up quickly. Each activity is quite short. The museum itself is quite small and my family moved through in no time. The robot is fairly impressive and the staff were more on the ball than some of the... More

Thanks for coming in and writing a review. Yes our robotic T.Rex is one of the best in the world and in a different league than many of the others you will encounter.
