This park is a jewel amidst our city, right on the border of Burnaby and Vancouver. It has wonderful trail to walk along, jog, or bike ride. Lots of squirrels dancing back and forth hoping for a hand-out, you might see a coyote standing atop a pile of dirt destined to be used on the lovely pitch and putt golf... More

Whether you're there for a picnic/bbq (weather permitting), a nice woodland walk, a bike ride or taking the kids to the playground, going to Central Park is sure to be a hit with the family. We go there all the time. There are a couple of small playgrounds scattered throughout the park and a big one with a water park feature... More

Central park is the perfect place for running, picknics, swiming, riding a bike, playground for kids, playing soccer, walking, taking a break, ioga, etc etc. Calm, very beautiful and big (but not gigantic). Trees shadow in the summer reduce the temperature just a few degrees which brings a better climate sensation there. Sky train station almost inside makes easier the... More

We were in the area Sunday morning and was surprised at how big the park really was. It has a stadium, lakes, swimming pools, picnic tables and lots of trails. There wereots of activities. People practicing Taichi, people walking, running . There was even a group at the stadium that was singing and it looked like they were getting ready... More

You can't visit NYC without experiencing the iconic park and it is beautiful. We were a group of 8 ladies celebrating a 'big' birthday so we made a meal of it. First a horse drawn carriage around the park (can be pricey but worth it - but like a city tour bus ride, you get to have a great view... More

This large park is the perfect setting for whatever it is you wish from a park. There is a pitch and putt, horseshoes, trails galore, sports stand, huge child play area, ponds, public pool, quiet and bliss deep in the forest. Any given weekend you can find families having bbq's, young sweethearts strolling, children running and playing, and those seeking... More

Picnic area, playgrounds and lots of space for kids to play. Nice place to spend the afternoons with friends. It also has some nice trails for jogging, including the Terry Fox 5Km circuit, and infrastructure for body-weight exercise

Plenty of paved or gravel paths in this park. Big & open for family gatherings & long walks. Several pleasant ponds & large trees in forested area. A popular spot for outdoor activities in Burnaby. I recommend this park.

Really enjoyed the outdoor pool. Refreshing from the heat and fun for the kids. Place to lay on your towel and suntan or sit on the deck chairs.

I've visited this park and par three course a half dozen times over the past few years and each time have found it to be a great golf outing. The course is located amongst towering firs and in the corner of a large municipal park. It offers a reasonable challenge that could be attractive to the vast majority of golfers.... More
