Such and unexpected adventure. Jamie, our guide and owner, certainly knows his stuff. The ease he guided us down the Campbell River was impressive! He knows all the areas that the salmon lay and his knowledge of the river and area are astounding. What a great way to spend the day. I highly recommend Destiny River Adventures to anyone!

Perhaps one of most memorable events of a lifetime... After jumping into the frigid river (however in a wet suit supplied by the company) we spent 2 hours floating down the river through many small Rapids watching hundreds of thousands of salmon. The salmon literally were a fingertip away. Absolutely amazing!! Suitable for all ages (including seniors). Hope to make... More

GREAT adventure! Snorkeling with the salmon was quite the experience. You will have the opportunity to float downstream with thousands of salmon swimming around you. Equipment is new and in good condition. Care of taken to see that all levels of expectation are satisfied. The water can be quite chillly even with the wetsuit, but worth the effort. Very safe.... If you are in Campbell river and don't go on a salmon snorkel then you have missed out. We saw I bet over 20,000 fish today in their natural environment. What a blast! Friendly staff, good equipment. This is a bucket list trip. Like swimming in a giant aquarium.

Snorkeling with the salmon with Destiny River Adventures is a MUST! My group did this tour without knowing what it was all about, but it turned out to be one of the best experiences ever... National Geographic Live!! It started with Jamie (owner) and Scott (guide) setting us up for the tour with just enough warning that this is an... More

Every peoson living in Western Canada needs to do this. Being an avid fisherman, I was immediately attracted to the adventure, but afterwards, I truly gained a new respect for the amazing salmon that fill our waters. Great for any age and Jamie is a class act. Very relaxing drifting down the river with stops at the pools to view... More

Liked the tour. We saw an owl, some american dippers, sandpipers, and a trout swimming below us. The staff were great and we were well taken care of. I think anybody could do this tour. It was safe, comfortable. We went through rapids after learning how to work as a group and prepped for any dangers. I felt we were... More

We (3 adults) had a wonderful time. Went in mid August and saw hundreds and hundreds of salmon all around us. Next visit to Vancouver Island will definitely include a repeat of this day. The staff were excellent and even the weak swimmer in our group felt safe. You have the option of returning to the raft whenever you want... More

This was an awesome way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Jamie and his guides made for a safe and enjoyable white water rafting. We travel the Nimpkish River for 21km downstream to the lake, encountering wildlife, fish, the most beautiful scenery on the planet and the history of the logging industry on Vancouver Island from the 1940's. Jamie was born... More
