This is, BY FAR, the best wildlife tour out there. If you are looking to have a great adventure and see some wildlife, look no further, this is the tour for you. One of the things I really liked is that the boat was enclosed so you do not have to wear a waterproof suit for the ride and you... More

This was my third trip with Gary out of Campbell River and each one has been a different adventure. No one knows the waters or history better. Will be going again this summer. I have seen orcas, baby orcas, tidal rapids and feeding eagles. And the sandwiches for lunch are worth the trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed our excursion with Garry, He was really knowledgable, especially since we were in his life-long back yard. In addition to searching out and finding two small pods of orcas and following them for 2 hours, we learned a great deal about them as well as the ocean currents. It would have been wonderful to find other animals... More

My fiancé and I took the 4 hour wildlife tour. It was raining that day so it was great to be in a covered boat. We saw some great ocean rapids & a ton of eagles. We didn't see any whales because they were too far south and the weather wasn't cooperating. Our very knowledgeable guide Garry said safety first... More

Went on Wildlife 4 hr. boat cruise. Ended up watching Orcas for 2 hrs. the trip was worthwile, but it should have been called an "Orca" Watching tour, as we really didn't seek out any other wildlife. We did see an Eagle and stopped to watch it for 15 minutes. the tour actually lasted 4 1/2 hr, so we got... More

Out of all the options to go whale watching on Vancouver Island, we chose Aboriginal Journeys based on a gut feeling. We came back to the marina after our wildlife tour on a hype, with hundreds of pictures on our cameras and thoroughly impressed with the spectacular impressions which mother nature had decided to put on show for us. And... More

It was a late decision to join this tour but we are so glad we did. Boat engine turned off, no other man-made sound, just the sound of a family of Orcas rolling through the water and blowing as they came to the surface. It will stay with us for a long time. Thank you Garry.

Garry thank you so much for the awesome trip. It was the highlight of our weekend getaway! You went above and beyond when you kept us out to see the orcas! That was a breathtaking experience to say the least. Can't wait to do the grizzly tour in the fall. Sure it will not disappoint! WE highly recommend your tour... More

It has been a while since I joined Aboriginal Journeys on a boat tour circumnavigation of Quadra Island but it left a stong impression with me. Knowledgable and able captain with comfortable boat wandering about in spectacular scenery combines to make a very memorable excursion.

This nature and wildlife excursion, was an experience that i will treasure in my memory for as long as I live, and my 9 year old daughter was there to experience and enjoy the same. We were able to see a Momma Orca and her two sons just running in there natural habitat, as it was intended to be for... More
