Loved it. Saw a pod of 60-70 pacific white-sided dolphins today as well as a family of 5 'transient' orcas heading North. This was, for us as a family, literally a dream come true. We were touched by the authenticity of our host, Gary, and his respect for the local way of life and wildlife, and for his welcome and... More

Garry is so committed to showing off his backyard he'll do everything in his power to give you an amazing day. We did 110 miles in his boat over 7 hours and saw a 75 strong pod of dolphins, a humpback whale, plenty of seals and some bald eagles. We could have travelled up the coast to see Orcas but... More

We took the 6 hour wildlife tour, Gary certainly is very knowledgeable about the area and has tremendous respect for nature. We saw the bald eagle fest over the rapids which was a very unique experience. At times it felt like Gary was more interested in telling his own stories though which got a bit annoying towards the end of... More

My wife, daughter and I had a wildlife viewing tour with Aboriginal Journeys on June 24,2015. We appreciated the professionalism, congeniality, entertaining and informative knowledge of Garry, the owner, who conducted the boat tour. Having gone on several similar boat tours in the past, we consider this tour the best one. The tour was memorable in seeing a humpback whale,... More

Fantastic trip with Gary. We went on the 6hrs wild life tour. (Too early in the year for the grizzly). Years of experience in these difficult waters and the love he has for his job makes for a top notch excursion. We were promised orcas and 10 minutes into the trip there they where, (as it turned out Gary had... More

An unforgettable afternoon. We booked the 4-hour Wildlife Tour and didn't really expect to see whales. But we had a fantastic view of a family of Orcas, and saw a Humpback whale. Best of all was Garry's passion for wildlife and nature - we are so glad we chose Aboriginal Journeys. Mike & Gill, UK

Garry was a great captain with a lot of experience. His boat has the perfect size with appr. 12 persons. It is small, but has seats inside and a good place outside for pictures. We saw orcas, a black bear with cubs, bald eagles and harbor seals.

What a great experience! Garry was frank about what we would see, and how circumstances would provide or not. On this beautiful day, Garry piloted us to a humpback whale, and we got to see it clearly. We enjoyed a very private lunch on the beach of an uninhabited island, then cruised around a rocky islet where dozens of seals... More

It was a great afternoon. How with the flow and see what nature wants you to see. Gary is a great guy and knows a lot about the sea and nature. He has a lot of experience and respect for all. A good sense of humour and the best humble photographer he knows. I wished I brought a good camera.... More
